Nigeria: Muslims have abducted ten Catholic priests so far this year

Ten priests have been abducted in Nigeria this year, with one recently released from captivity.

Now commonplace in the country, they are often kidnapped with the goal of receiving a ransom or to further religious fanaticism.

This places Nigeria as 6th on the 2024 World Watch List for religious persecution.

According to the Civil Society Joint Action group more than 17,000 Nigerians, most of them Christians, have been abducted since 2019….

    • It appears that it is not just open season on jews but on Catholics also by ISLAM.

      Open borders allowing YOUNG muslim men to enter your country is the same as allowing another countries ARMY to march in.

Of course the current Pope is more concern with climate change ,DEI ,and other woke idiotic stuff to worry about Christians and most especially Catholic being kidnapped in Africa because of their faith .Why will he at least speak out against it? He is quick give his opinion about the “evils ” of past European and American wrongs that where committed over a hundred years ago against places they controlled in far flung countries .Why not condemn current murder rape and kidnapping comment by black Africans that are Moslem against Black Catholics and other Christians in Africa solely because they are Christian? Maybe the next time the current Pope meets with some “leader” of the Moslem community at the Popes ,s Palace funded by the donation of Catholics that payed for it and its up keep he can bring up the subject ?

    • This pope is certainly not concerned about the well being of his patrons. Instead of kissing inbred terrorists who only wish to annihilate Christians and all non-followers of the pedophilic mass murdering monster, he should visit some of the African nations where Christians are being slaughtered daily. Were I born a Catholic, I would have left for another church that loves and cares for its members more than those who avow to kill them all.

      • The only church “that loves and cares for its members” is the true Church, which exists in people’s hearts.

  3. The ‘pope’ fiddles around with helping mozlum “migrants” while other mozlums slaughter the priests in Nigeria, burn churches, and homes belonging to the “flock” the ‘pope’ pretends to shepherd.

    When they run out of Christians and others to murder, they can turn on each other. The ‘fulani,’ boko haram, isis, etc. can fight each other for top spot on the devil-worshipping heap.
