“The government doesn’t respect the right to life.”
Yes. The government is on the side of the jihad force.
“Islamic Fulani Militants Kill Pastor, Wife, 3 Other Church Members,” International Christian Concern, June 4, 2024:
6/4/2024 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) — Within a week of meetings between the Christian Irigwe and Muslim Fulani leaders seeking peaceful relations, armed radical Islamic gunmen attacked a Christian community, killing five people. The attack occurred Sunday evening, June 2, in Kimapka, Kwall district, Irigwe chiefdom of Bassa Local government area in Plateau State.
According to a press release from the Irigwe Development Association (IDA), those killed in the attack include Dauda Dalyop, 63, pastor of Assemblies of God Church, Kwall; his wife Chummy Dauda, 57; Chwe Ajuhs, 26; Joshua Kusa, 45; and Rikwe Doro, 43. Sunday Abila, 36, was injured.
The Peace Implementation Committee meeting, organized by the Nigeria Army of Operations Save Heaven (OPSH) in Jos, sought to bring lasting peace between Christian Irigwe and Muslim Fulani communities in Plateau state.
“We relax thinking the Fulani Leaders will talk to the terrorists to stop the attacks, but on a sad note, the Fulani [militias] killed a pastor and wife with three other church members,” a local community leader told an International Christian Concern (ICC) staffer.
The Rev. Akus Odoh of the Evangelical Church Winning All in Miango district condemned the attack.
“Nigeria has lost its values, including its respected army in West Africa,” the reverend told an ICC staffer. “The government doesn’t respect the right to life.”…

the government is mozlum and on the side of the slugs who are doing all of the murdering, raping, kidnapping, burning, stealing, forcing *conversion* and lying about it.
The Christians met with the mozlums to talk peace. The Christians said they wanted ‘lasting peace’ with the mozlums.
The mozlums lied and said they wanted the same, but as now they know the Christians will not be fighting, murdering, stealing, burning, kidnapping, forcing conversions and lying about it, they have no fears of retaliation and can do what mozlums do.
And so they did.

Note to Nigerian Christians.
Get guns. Kill them. Take their weapons.
Repeat.
James Lincoln says
PRCS,
The problem is that the Christians in Nigeria, is far as I can ascertain, are not armed and do not have access to suitable weapons. The government is muslim – and does not care at all about the Christians being massacred.
There “are ways” (covert) for Western nations to get weapons to them: M-16s, grenade launchers, etc., and plenty of ammo. But there appears to be NO will to make this happen.
If the Christians were able to fight back, at least they would have a chance to stop from being slaughtered wholesale.
Also, the Christians in Nigeria should be prioritized and welcomed as REAL refugees to Western nations – but they are not.
Absolutely infuriating.
PRCS says
All true.
But, at some point, somehow, they must either fight back or continue to be slaughtered.

The muslim population in Nigeria is about 52-53% while the Christians is about 45-46%. Not much different. I think, the problem is most Christians in Nigeria just like Christians in the rest of the world, are indifferent with the fate of other people, including their own Christian fellows. At most, they only say that they will pray for the suffering, then do nothing.
Christians should realize that Jesus did not just pray for mankind, He did the real thing from giving food, healing people, teaching and finally sacrificing Himself. True Christians should also do the real things to other people, not just offering prayers and give the burden to God.

You are slamming a lot of people with your comment about “most” Christians.
Jesus said that Christians would be ‘persecuted even to the death,’ and that His followers would be “delivered up” by those who hate Him.
He did not say that Christians are to take up arms and go to other countries to fight the persecutors
Prayer being said to God, in Jesus’ Name is the most powerful thing a Christian can do. To God, it is not a ‘burden.”
If one can actually aid another who is being persecuted, then that should be done, as James wrote.
But accusing “most” Christians of not caring, is entirely wrong.

Romans Chapter 13 says “The minister of righteousness beareth not the sword in vain” Exegesis need not search for meaning too deeply to see that pacifism is NOT Godliness.
somehistory says
The Apostle Paul was writing about human governments ‘bearing the sword.’ Human governments are supposed to protect the citizens from other humans who are raping, assaulting, killing…’for this reason, they bear the sword.”
This is not meant for individual Christians to take up swords and wage war against the persecutors.
Jesus said, “When they persecute you in one city, flee to the next.” He also said, “Those who live by the sword, will perish by the sword.”
Self-defense is one thing, one issue. Waging war is another issue.
Palestinian Red Crescent Society says
“Prayer being said to God, in Jesus’ Name is the most powerful thing a Christian can do.
If one can actually aid another who is being persecuted, then that should be done.”
Part b makes clear part a is not true
What has saved more Nigerian Christians from Muslim slaughter? Christian’s prayers or their direct action?

If we are made in the image of God we have to take that in to account. God is not Mr. Rogers so it should be no surprise many of us are not that way either.

No where in the Western World of today are Christians prioritized for immigration and DHIMMITUDE is ignored as somnambulant Western complicity in Jihad against the West is gleefully implemented. Somehow today’s Babylon (The West) feels that it has viable strategies for the 1400 year old Jihad it is bathing in. Strong prayer from the church will the only thing that will rescue the Judeo-Christian population from the catacombs in our future. Joe Biden and the mushy addled brains of his ilk on The Left quite evidently are Common Core consequences. Up close and personal I am watching the 2Thessalonians 2nd chapter and Romans 2nd chapter being made manifest. I suppose we’ll have to be made to really understand BRINKSMANSHIP on a nose to nose basis. If you’ll notice The Left has Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Eric Adams, Angela Merkel, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Francesca Albanese, the LGBTQ ⚧ and Justin Trudeau as the intellectual archetypes of today’s Western leadership. These are those in our society who ignore factual substance for Ivory Tower fantasy on an habitual basis. Only the Right has the intellectual resources to see reality at this point. The question is how will we respond to this state of affairs? From “Sanctuary City” to “oops!”from “we can do this” to “oops!” From “defund the police!” to crime as the new normal. The Left is loudly proclaiming self-annihilation as LIBERATION. At this point The Right ABSOLUTELY MUST set forth our Judeo-Christian principles as our firm non-negotiable opposition to the wholly anti-Western DEMONACRACY of today’s West. The downward slide is always smooth and easy and moves exponentially faster as time advances. We on the Right must endure blood sweat and tears and fight “Slouching Towards Gomorrah” to the death. No choice. Pushing a snowball uphill is vastly easier if started early before that snowball gathers weight and speed later.?Proceastination is CAPITULATION and capitulation need not be. Praise God and pass the ammunition!!! Observe that The Left only wants gun control for non-criminals and housing accommodation for immigrants! We on the Right silently concede. Reality is issuing IMPERATIVES and the SEEMINGLY unsavory Colonel Jessup is pragmatically certain to be deified SOON AND VERY SOON. Lock and Load will soon be accompanied by sweet Baroque music with absolutely no disconnect. Rush Limbaugh, Emir Kahane, J. Edgar Hoover, and Ronald Reagan are all dead and I don’t feel too good myself. Societies past went into the ground to give the flowers ? of freedom we enjoy today. The blight of unchecked progressivism must not be allowed to kill our children’s right to have what The Founding Fathers bequeathed to we boomers. As a Thomas Sowellian, Marcus Garveyite, WEB DuBoisean, Booker T. Washingtonian, Carter G Woodsonian, advocating The Founding Father’s American Ideals and principles I say that there is no abdication from true American society in any quarter. True Americans honestly believe in a scorched earth ? policy for the sake of Liberty, Justice and Freedom for all! Anyone opposed should prepare for the Great Cataclysm.

Washington
General George Washington demonstrated a strong reliance on God’s protection and guidance throughout the Revolutionary War.
Lincoln
Throughout his life, Lincoln fought with God. In his early years in Illinois, he rejected even the existence of God and became the village atheist. In time, this changed but still he wrestled with the truth of the Bible, preachers, doctrines, the will of God, the providence of God, and then, finally, God’s purposes in the Civil War.
Theodore Roosevelt. Research that, it is complicated.
Franklin Roosevelt.
On the evening of June 6, 1944, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt made a radio broadcast to address the nation for the first time since Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy. On this occasion, the president’s usual “fireside chat” was replaced with a joint prayer with the American people.
Eisenhower Ended His D-Day Order to the Troops by Asking Them to Pray, 80 Years Ago.
Reagan
Ronald Reagan’s religious convictions were crucial to his understanding of the world and performance as president, but few scholars have provided substantive analysis of his faith and its impact on his policies during his tenure in the White House.
