The IDF on Monday night confirmed the death of four additional hostages from the remaining group which Hamas seized on October 7.
The four are Haim Perry and Yoram Metzger, age 80, and Amiram Cooper, age 84, all from Nir Oz, and Nadav Popplewell, age 51, from Nirim.
The announcement was based on intelligence and confirmed by a Health Ministry expert, in coordination with the Religious Services Ministry and the Chief Rabbi of Israel.

According to the IDF, they were not killed on October 7, but rather afterward while being held in Gaza.
The military said that the four were killed in the Khan Yunis area a number of months ago.
The IDF further said that the four hostages were killed during a period when it was carrying out operations in the area.
In addition, it said that this revelation would raise difficult questions about the circumstances of the hostages’ death and that the military would continue to probe the issue….
The four men — three of them elderly — were killed in cold blood, like more than several dozen other hostages, like the 1,200 Israeli men, women, and children who were raped, tortured, mutilated and murdered on October 7.
More than their names should be known to us. Each was admirable in his own quiet way:

…Perry was a father to five, a grandfather to 13, a peace activist, and an artist.
He was a member of the Road to Recovery association and volunteered to transport sick children from Gaza to Israel to receive medical treatment.
Perry managed The White House art gallery in Nir Oz, which was his personal project.
He was a paratrooper in the IDF, fought in four Israeli wars, and served in the military until he was 50 years old.

…Tamar was kidnapped along with Yoram on October 7, and was released in November.
At the kibbutz, Yoram worked in the Nirlat factory for several decades and, more recently, as a kibbutz mechanic.
He was known as an excellent cook and a history buff. He loved the Beatles and played the accordion and recorder.
Yoram was part of the wine parliament at Kibbutz Nir Oz, a group of friends who grew grapes and prepared their own wine.

…Born in Haifa in 1938, Cooper came to Nir Oz in 1957 and was one of the kibbutz’s founders. He served as the chief economist of the Ma’or region settlements for many years.
Cooper had also composed songs and poetry for over 60 years. He has written three poetry books and one children’s book.

…Popplewell was taken hostage with his mother, Channah Perri, who was released on November 24. His brother Roi, age 54, was murdered on October 7.
Popplewell held British and Israeli citizenship. He was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire, and made aliyah over 20 years ago.
He was an avid reader and a fan of science fiction. He enjoyed playing bridge at the kibbutz and watching TV series.
One fought as a paratrooper in four wars. As a volunteer, he also ferried sick Palestinian children in Gaza to hospitals in Israel. A second was an excellent cook, a wine-maker, and a history buff. A third wrote three books of poetry, a book for children, and composed songs. A fourth liked to read, especially science fiction, to play bridge, to watch television series. All of them unassuming, kind, good men, their quiet lives snuffed out by Hamas.

These four excellent human beings deserved much better than this. They hurt no one and gave so much to the people around them and to have monstrous sub-humans slaughter them like this is monstrous in itself. I would like the opportunity to ask Obumer’s puppet how he would feel if one of his family members were killed in such a manner by sub-human slugs and if he would release these slugs as part of negotiations for a so-called cease fire.
The cease fire as has been propagated by the anti-Semitics in Washington seems to be identical to the old negotiating tactic by the Soviets which was, what’s mine is mine and yours we will negotiate. Israel is attacked and the Jewish state is supposed to forget about their people being slaughtered in a halal manner. They are expected to leave in place the parasites that killed 1,200+ of its citizens so the same creatures can repeat the atrocities at a later date. If Israel does not completely destroy the tunnels that enables Hamas to reign missiles upon its nation, hundreds if not thousands of people will be killed. Also the tunnels leading to Egypt that supply illegal instruments of war need to be demolished.
