Shaykh al-Kulayni narrates a sahíh (correct) hadith from `Ammãr as-Sãbãti who said: I heard (Imam) Abu `Abdullãh (as-Sãdiq) (a.s.) saying, “A Muslim from among the Muslims who renounces Islam and rejects the prophethood of Muhammad and considers him untrue, then verily his blood is lawful (mubãh) for anyone who hears that from him, his wife is to be separated from him the day he became murtad, his wealth will be divided among his heirs, and his wife will observe the `idda of a widow (i.e., four months). The Imam is obliged to kill him, and not ask him to seek forgiveness.” (Furu al-Kãfi, vol. 7, p. 257)

Five Christian converts have been sentenced to a total of over 25 years in prison by the Iranian judiciary, according to a Friday Iran International report….
The sentences handed down include a 10-year jail term for Christian convert Hamid Afzali, along with five-year jail terms for Nasrollah Mousavi, Bijan Gholizadeh, and Iman Salehi. Zohrab Shahbazi received nine months of jail time.
The report explained that while Christians are “acknowledged as a religious minority in Iran, authorities impose severe penalties, especially on those who convert from Islam to Christianity.”

The real reason why the ayatollahs and mullahs who have so much power in that tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran and so they put this Christian woman prison because of they’re afraid that if the Iranian people would even hear the Bible read or start to compare and contrast the Bible with Quran the people of Iran might start to view the Bible and the superior of those two different books.
Since, that Islamic tyranny is based on Islam and it’s Sharia which have their total foundation on the Quran is could be a threat to those in power in Iran if the people did discover that the Bible is ,indeed, better and superior to that “holy book” of Islam.
Therefore those Muslim clerics along with other Muslim tyrants do have “security concerns” when it comes to Christians making known the Bible to the people of Iran.
As a result ,of this to maintain power , those ayatollahs and mullahs of Iran to everything they can , as cruel as they are , to keep the people of Iran in the bondage of the ignorant and darkness of Islam and away from the Light of Bible based Christianity.
It therefore will on the future Day of Judgement, u God, Romans 14:12. , a time of desolation and sorrow for those Muslim clerics who do everything, they can to keep the people of Iran in the darkness of Islam and away from the light of the Bible and Christianity.

This is a reflection of the prediction of such lying falsehood speakers written about in the Bible , which informs its reader about men who “Speak evil of things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption.” Second Peter 2:12.
In addition, it should be make clear that in the context and meaning of the above Bible verse Second Peter 2:1. The word “destruction” does not mean “loss of being but loss of well-being, as the destruction of well- being. That is “going to ruin” by ending up and a terrible place of awful suffering which the Bible call hell, Luke 16:19-31.

The article is perfectly true in that these persons lucky for being jailed ( for 25 years ) but for what?. Choosing a religion that appeals to them, so what is wrong with that, a decision we all have and exercise free will, ie choosing the religion ( or none ) that we find more acceptable than the one that we are born into , automatically brought up in and forced upon us. We have all been given free choice, so what is wrong in the mind of some to prevent us from our exercising that choice. Those who change religion at least think for themselves and don’t follow like sheep. So why does Islam require the DEATH penalty for those who leave it, so although 25 years in prison is evil in itself, the Koran requires DEATH for leavers. Question is WHY ?

It is standard warlord policy. In the 10th century, the politicians tried to unite their empire under Islam as Constantine and Charlemagne had tried to do with Christianity. Unlike anything that Constantine and Charlemagne did, they conscripted all the Qurans they could find and destroyed them. They issued new Qurans and Hadiths that had their warlord policy inserted into the religion. In battle, a traitor is executed.
Since this all happened so late in history, it is well established in written history. I think that Robert Spencer has this documented in one of his books, but I haven’t read all his books.
