We are as far from a common playing field in terms of the standards applied by Hamas and those applied by IDF.
Hamas is acting according to the Qur’an and IDF is acting according to international law, which is based on our Judeo Christian values.
Now, virtually nobody dares to speak openly about the link between the Qur’an and the murderous behaviour of the Muslims. In spite of the fact that it is common that Muslims slit the throats of non Muslims, like the orthodox priest in Dagestan a couple of days ago, the link to the Qur’anic commands to slit the throats of disbelievers is never made. The reason is most likely the fear of triggering a bloodbath in countries with significant Muslim populations.
I have an idea for contemplation:
The IDF will make a public announcement that it is untenable to fight an adversary who operates on a completely different playing field pertaining to the rules of war. Therefore, the IDF will from now on fight Hamas on the basis of the same Qur’anic commands on which Hamas fights Israel and its citizens as if Hamas were Jews and IDF were Muslims.
Expect an outrage internationally!
IDF’s new set of Qur’anic rules of war will of course never be applied, but it will open an awareness of the Qur’an and its inhuman and illegal commands as the basis for the worst crimes imaginable: Taking hostages, using them sexually, slaughtering them etc.etc.
Several countries are in grave danger of introducing blasphemy laws without realising what they are doing. If law cases against the criminal nature of the Qur’anic commands are not started now along with protests of its blasphemy of Jesus Christ, the Muslims will act before us with the very real risk that they will have Christianity banned for hate crimes against Islam!
Can you imagine that the gospel of love and forgiveness will be banned by action of the “religion” of self-righteousness, hatred and murder? Regrettably it is a distinct possibility!
