France: Muslims attack Jewish children, ‘dirty Jews,’ ‘we are going to destroy the Torah,’ ‘on the Qur’an’

New anti-Semitic attack in Hauts-de-Seine (92). The events took place not far from Courbevoie, where a 12-year-old girl was raped and attacked against a backdrop of anti-Semitism, on June 15. Last weekend, on the evening of Saturday June 22, a group of six minors were attacked at the exit of the So Ouest shopping center, in Levallois-Perret, located on the edge of the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The six children, three boys, three girls, aged 11 to 14, who are brothers and sisters, or cousins, were going to see the cartoon Vice-Versa 2 as a family. Some of them live in the 17th arrondissement. A little after 10 p.m., as they were leaving the cinema, a group of four boys, barely older, headed towards them, indicates a police source.

According to the story given by the victims’ family circle, the attackers first approached them by saying to one of the boys (whom he had never seen since the latter lives in Italy) “you insulted my mother, you will pay”, before slapping her first. Other blows and insults followed such as “dirty Jews,” “we are going to destroy the Torah,” all accompanied by comments such as “on the Qur’an,” suggesting that the attackers are of the Muslim faith. One of the victim boys, dressed in white, was also called a “faggot,” another was pushed to the ground, while the tallest of the group tried to intervene.

The prosecution retained the anti-Semitic nature of the attack
Still according to the family circle, a witness then intervened, which allowed the six children to flee. The four attackers nevertheless continued to pursue them. The victims finally found refuge at the European Center of Judaism, located in the 17th arrondissement, where one of them had made his bar mitzvah a few weeks earlier. The six children were then taken care of by the police present on site to ensure the security of the premises.

The six minors were able to find their parents the same evening, who filed a complaint. A video showing the start of the attack, recorded by one of the victims, was given to the police, indicates the family circle, very shocked by what happened. “We were told that this corner of Levallois was poorly frequented, that we had to be careful,” indicates the mother of three of the six victims, who explains that her children do not want to sleep alone or go out into the street. “They didn’t understand what was happening, why they were being attacked, or some of the insults being uttered.” Contacted by Valeurs Acteurs, an elected official from western Paris confirms: “It’s a place where there is a lot of social housing, with security problems, including brawls.” The 17th arrondissement of Paris has also regularly been the subject of anti-Semitic or pro-Palestinian tags.

The anti-Semitic nature of the attack was retained, according to the response of the Paris prosecutor’s office formulated in Le Figaro, taking into account the insults uttered. Especially since two of the six victims wore necklaces with a metal plate with writing, in English and Hebrew, “bring them home,” in reference to the Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas. Once handled by the Paris public prosecutor’s office, the case was finally transferred to the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office (92), the facts having taken place in the department within the jurisdiction of this court.
