Six people were arrested after a Toronto Walk With Israel that drew an impressive 50,000 people. Police presence was heavy, which likely scared off pro-Hamas troublemakers.
I personally heard a story about Palestinian “resistance” supporters spitting, jeering, bullying and spewing pure hatred against participants of the walk, which crosses the lines of Canadian hate laws. The sheer obnoxiousness of their presence even amid 50,000 Israel supporters couldn’t be ignored:

Unfortunately, given the climate of soaring antisemitism, leftist Toronto mayor Olivia Chow missed the Walk With Israel, saying she “can’t be everywhere.” No one expects her to be everywhere. Chow’s absurd remark demonstrates her priorities, which were clear from her participation in last year’s Pride parade.
Even the Leftist Globe and Mail made the case for why Toronto’s mayor should attend the Walk With Israel, a major reason being that “Canada’s Jewish community is feeling beleaguered, isolated and fearful.” Chow is known for her talk about bigotry, but she certainly wasn’t willing to walk the talk. Given the the rapid growth of antisemitism, she should at least have made an appearance.

Toronto police have released details about the arrest of six people during a large pro-Israel march over the weekend in North York.
The 55th Walk with Israel took place along Bathurst Street near Sheppard Avenue on Sunday afternoon alongside a significant police presence.
The individuals taken into custody are facing a number of charges in connection with separate incidents that allegedly transpired during the event, including one case where “antisemetic messaging calling for violence” was allegedly displayed.
Police say that the arrests all took place in the vicinity of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue in North York on Sunday afternoon….

That one bozo with the glasses didn’t even get his spelling correct.
His sign reads “Fuck Israel and it’s (sic) supporters. It should have read, “….its supporters.” There’s no apostrophe for the possessive form of “it.”
He’s the kind of guy who would hold a sign saying, “Down with the Juice.”

I’m concerned about the crime too….however, the grammar and the spelling is worth pointing out. I’m a bit of an English language freak; my pet peeve is native English speakers eho mixvup “you’re” and “your”, for instance.

Recently my cell phone was taken over by google assistant and the voice keeps saying “budd un” for button. Drives me nuts.
And there was even a Newsweek writer using ‘bare” for bear, meaning one can’t *bear* to look.
Much confusion is present these days due to poor grammar and the use of the wrong words.
My own errors make me cringe.

These days, I wouldn’t blame the typist. Autocorrect often “corrects” my its and makes it “it’s”, even though I’m using it in the possessive context rather than as “it is”. I am mortified by some of the typos I make on X these days, but realize later that it is Autocorrect on steroids
After all, if it has nothing to correct, what good is it? Right? RIGHT?

Somehistory: as you have pointed out, even some well-educated native speakers of English make some elementary mistakes in the language, when they should know better.
I recall when a highly-literate blogger once wrote, “They sited (sic)a recent report to back up their claims.” Of course, he should have written “cited.” However, that’s a small error compared to some of the whoppers I’ve come across elsewhere.
