Ahmed, who is suspected to have fled the country with the help of senior leaders of the ruling Awami League (AL), is being investigated by the country’s Anti-Corruption Commission and a Dhaka court ordered confiscation of most of his properties on Wednesday (12 June)….

Infidel: why do you believe that Bangladesh is an even deadlier enemy for India than Pakistan? I mean, I don’t think Bangladesh has nuclear weapons. Of course, there are Bangladeshi Islamists as well, but the problem seems to be somewhat less in Bangladesh than in Pakistan.

Bangladesh may not have nukes, but it is like a Trojan Horse for India. Most Indians, and pretty importantly, all Indian political parties, recognize Pakistan as nothing but an enemy, regardless of their views on islam. India has a pretty tight border w/ Pakistan, except in Jammu & Kashmir, where there is a seditious population
On Bangladesh, otoh, all Indian political parties and more Indians than not see them not as an enemy, & even worse, some see them as an ally. To make things worse, India has a border w/ Bangladesh that would make the US-Mexico border look like the Berlin Wall. In West Bengal, the state that has the longest border w/ Bangladesh and is the first choice for Bangladeshi illegals b’cos they both speak the same language, there is no political party, including the BJP, that is opposed to their infiltration to the point that they would take the steps necessary to deport them. On top of that, the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, whether it is girls getting abducted/”married”/converted/raped, temples being desecrated, Hindus being subjected to violence during their sacred festivals, et al is as bad as in Pakistan
As a result, foreign jihadists who want to infiltrate India and terrorize the local populace use Bangladesh as their congregation point to do it, just like ISIS volunteers from the West would congregate at Gaziantep, Turkey before proceeding on to Raqqa, Syria. Given the border situation I described above, there is nothing to stop them from infiltrating into India. Once there, they enlist local muslims to help them execute whatever acts they want to terrorize Hindus. On top of everything, there are hundreds of thousands of both illegal Bangladeshi muslims as well as Rohingyas in India, that way exacerbating that country’s jihadist problems
Pakistan doesn’t cause even a fraction of the jihadist problems to India that Bangladesh does, given what I described above
