Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò regards the schism charges being brought against as “an honor,” which is understandable, considering that the Church has become a foremost exponent of wokeism, and has in many ways abandoned its Christian tradition, as with its relentless pandering to Islam.

The disgraced former papal nuncio to the United States, Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, announced that he has been charged with schism by the Vatican’s doctrinal office, after a six-year rogue period in which he called for Pope Francis to resign and labeled him a “false prophet.”
On June 20, the archbishop posted on his own website a two-page decree from the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith ordering him to appear for a trial regarding “public statements that show a denial of points necessary for the preservation of communion with the Catholic Church.”
The decree is dated June 11 and is signed by Msgr. John Kennedy, secretary of the doctrinal office’s disciplinary section, requesting that Viganò present himself on June 20 at 15:30 to formally receive the accusation and evidence against him.
In 2018, Viganò penned an 11-page letter alleging a widespread Vatican cover-up of allegations against ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and called on Francis to resign. Since then, many of the claims he alleged have been discredited, but the Italian archbishop has become something of a hero to some right-wing Catholics for his support of former U.S. President Donald Trump, opposition to the COVID-19 vaccines, spreading of Q-Anon conspiracy theories, and his outright rejection of the Second Vatican Council.
While many mainstream Catholics have dismissed the former Vatican diplomat, he has continued to use his website and social media to promote his radicalized views, with his posts being shared by high-profile individuals such as Trump and being widely promoted within certain pockets of the U.S. Catholic Church.
In the weeks following Viganò’s 2018 attack against Francis, many bishops’ conferences around the globe issued statements specifically denouncing the former nuncio. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops did not and more than two dozen U.S. bishops issued statements of support for Viganò at the time.
In October 2021, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, the then-head of the Vatican’s Congregation for Bishops, penned a fiery response to Viganò charging him with carrying out a “political frame job” and labeling his actions as “extremely immoral.”
More recently, in 2022, Italy’s military chaplain, Archbishop Santo Marciano, published an open letter to Viganò condemning his spread of conspiracy theories.
In his June 20 blog post, Viganò said he considered the charges brought against him to be an “honor,” adding that Vatican II is a “moral and liturgical cancer of which the Bergoglian ‘synodal church’ is a necessary metastasis.”..

The Pope made public overtures towards gay people (“Who am I to judge ?”).
But in private, to a recent conference of bishops, the Pope referred to seminarians who happen to be gay in the most disgusting judgemental terms, so disgusting that his words can’t be repeated.
This is hypocrisy of the worst kind.
It’s a truism that people who obsessively condemn gay people are sometimes doing to so to suppress and blot out their own inclinations.
The RC Church has always been threatened by the reality of desire and constantly tries to control people’s sexual behaviour. It can’t.

He perhaps also should mention the close ties that the ‘pope’ has to the big wigs of islam…such as the ghoul in egypt with whom the ‘pope’ has met with hugs and kisses. And post the photo of same, along with the one of the ‘pope’ washing and kissing the feet of mozlums who would be at the ready to murder any number of Catholics.
And this “Catholic register” piece labels this man as “radicalized.” But, has the ‘pope’ ever, even once, said that any mozlum murderer or rapist (or both) was at fault? He wouldn’t need to say ‘radicalized,’….just guilty and not due to being unwelcome, poor, etc.
Jesus doesn’t agree with the ‘pope’ or his “national register.” Would that ‘news’ org label Jesus “radicalized”? My guess is Yes; Yes they would.

Vigano is a brave and good man, upholding what’s left of the old Catholic faith (which isn’t much any longer). Again I state that Vatican II (1962-1965), called by a nice man but a fool, Pope John XXIII, began the destruction of the Roman Catholic faith. Denying this is akin to denying Joe Biden suffers from dementia.
The present pontifex maximus is easily the worst Pope in history and an inevitable result of Vatican II which did so much damage, including looking upon Islam as a major religion which has had valid revelation experiences from the Judeo-Christian deity, something before Vatican II the Catholic faith always vehemently denied. Yes, there have been some other bad Popes, actually not all that many and many Popes have been good men and some have been great human beings like Leo I, Gregory I, Innocent III, Paul III, Innocent XI, Benedict XIV, Leo XIII, Pius XI, Pius XII {yes, him too}, John Paul II and Benedict XVI, but even previous bad Popes like Benedict IX and Alexander VI were bad “only” in personal ways, i.e., corrupt, lascivious, etc. but never in the matter of Catholic doctrine, contra Francis I and why Francis is, easily, the worst Pope in history.
When an agnostic like me has to stand up for the old Catholic faith and a man like Vigano, one should know just how terrible matters have become for Roman Catholicism, in so many ways no longer a living faith but a dead one. RIP old Roman Catholicism, which at its best was a beacon of light, understanding and subtlety about the human condition. No longer and it gives me no pleasure to state this.

The treatments accorded Cardinal Burke and Bishop Strickland smack of vindictive tyranny. But excommunicating Viganò will likely close the purses of committed Catholics at a time when diocese after diocese are crumbling into bankruptcy due to chancery after chancery engaging in multiple payments of hush money to those victimized by sexual predators in the garb of clerics. Viganò is greatly loved by many traditionalist Catholics in the USA.
But I see both Biden and Francis as divine chastisements for the embracing of abortion and sexual perversion by the nations that used to comprise Christendom.

I thought the pope said it was “suicidal” to take a stand on doctrine. I guess the pope meant that it was suicidal to report that the pope was sexually molesting seminarians as this bishop reported.
