How America has fallen.
In 1904, a Greek American named Ion Hanford Perdicaris is captured by a Muslim warlord named Ahmed Raisuni, President Theodore Roosevelt sends warships to North Africa with the warning, “Perdicaris alive or Raisuli dead.”
120 years later, after 8 months of Americans being held hostage by Hamas, State Dept spokesman Matthew Miller uploaded a video of himself pleading with Islamic terrorists to accept a deal that leaves them in power.
Miller, the representative of a world power, pleads with Hamas to accept the deal that gives the terror group almost everything it previously demanded.
What a contrast with Secretary of State John Hay declaring, “This government wants Perdicaris alive or Raisuni dead.”
Roosevelt and Hay were making a larger point, beyond whether Perdicaris even merited American protection, which was that America was a great power and was not to be trifled with.
Consider this video of Miller and decide whether that’s the message being sent today.

This is all indicative of a much larger problem and that is that one of the two major political parties in America (guess which one) is now in “full destruction of America” mold. And why anyone, ANYONE, remaining in said party cannot possibly be a knowledgeable and patriotic American. It is no longer reconcilable to say you are a knowledgeable, patriotic American and a Democrat. Only fools or liars will continue to state this.
Yes, the Republican Party has many faults but has not turned traitorous or fully stupid. The Democratic Party has.

I think that many liberal American Jews continue to support the Democrats because that is what they’ve traditionally done. They perceive the Democratic party as more liberal on a number of social issues (such as abortion rights, same-sex marriage, affirmative action, euthanasia, and certain other issues), and hence continue to support them.
However, I believe that they need to vote more strategically, considering the rising anti-Semitism on the American Left, and Israel’s existential struggle, which the current Democratic adminstration is doing little to alleviate…in fact, it’s making it worse in som ways.

I am waiting for the report that the American hostages are dead ,and our house plant in the Whitehouse gives a public speech to the parents and families’. With hindsight someone should have contacted Hunter Biden to offer him USD 200,000 for one of his “masterpiece” paintings against the release of Gonzalo, who would have been on the first V.I.P express out of Ukraine in company with Ursula Von Der Leyen or some other close friends of the comedien in fatigue who is responsible for the slaughter of 1/2 million young men and the total destruction of his country,, just for money!
