UCLA once again chooses terrorists over the truth.
Going in, we knew that UCLA would do everything possible to stop the talk even as Hamas supporters were holding Nakba Day ceremonies commemorating the failed Muslim effort to exterminate the Jews.After weeks of pro-Hamas campus riots, Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch, was due to speak to the UCLA chapter of Young Americans for Freedom with a talk titled “Why Everything You Know About Palestine is Wrong.”
After UCLA campus police had failed to stop violence against Jewish students and protesters in previous weeks, the David Horowitz Freedom Center had provided Robert’s security (because we knew campus security would do nothing) and we had people, including me, prepared to go out to be at the talk.
And then at the last minute, it was shut down.
While the doors were supposed to open at 5:30 PM, they were instead locked. UCLA wanted the event to go somewhere else, anywhere else, after threats and lies from terror supporters.
Local pro-Hamas groups had spread the same discredited lies about Robert Spencer and claimed credit for the cancelation.
But the bottom line is that UCLA had once again made the decision to choose leftists and Islamists over free speech. And after weeks in which the Left pretended to champion free speech, they went right back to suppressing it.
“At @UCLA radical protesters are allowed on campus but not civil students listening to a @yaf speaker in a room that was appropriately reserved in advance. This is a violation of their Constitutional rights. We beat the UC System before & will again. See you in court!” Scott Walker, the head of the Young America’s Foundation, tweeted.
The David Horowitz Freedom Center has unfortunately seen this same game played out before on campuses.
It took a lot of legal battles until universities stopped blocking conservative speakers, but in the wake of the Hamas riots, they’re going back to the same tactics, claiming that conservative events pose too much risk and introducing technical objections that never seem to show up at leftist events.
But the David Horowitz Freedom Center will continue to do our part to uphold the truth on college campuses.
The UCLA chose terrorists over truth, but the truth must be heard.

Robert knew that the event was a bust even before it happened. He and David Woods during their podcast discussed the probability of the cancelation of the event due to the protests. I believe that Robert simply wanted to prove a point by letting UCLA close it down rather than actually permitting a meeting of minds.

The administrators who pulled the plug on Spencer’s scheduled talk ought to be fired – no ifs or buts – they should be fired. UCLA is a public institution that should welcome civil discussion and debate – not close down freedom of speech.
If actions are not taken against the administration’s decision to cancel it simply adds to the power of the bigots who protested the speaker.

The weakest of the species must hide from those who threaten them, even if it is only in words. Freedom of speech is a bedrock right of everyone on the planet. If it is not, it should be. Mr. Spencer, if these people feel threatened by the truth, they are not worth the time to speak to.
I watched the documentary about October 7 and, to be perfectly honest, I had tears in my eyes from what I learned. This documentary should be put up in the meeting hall of every university in the world and a question and answer period held afterwards. I am sure there would be a few who would claim it was all staged, but the majority would not.
Thank you for all you do, Sir. Continue to enlighten the world about the truth and not the propaganda of the jihadists.

American institutes of lower learning (they know who they are) are part of the disease that has infected the USA. I dont think an intervention, psychiatric or otherwise, will do any good. They are a lost cause. Cowards like these could only survive in America. Throughout the rest of the world their chances of survival would be little to none.

UCLA and many other institutions have figured out who’s the boss. Violence or threats of violence eclipse free speech. UCLA has more respect for Islam than the constitution. Let’s hope the Young America’s Foundation is successful in their lawsuit and holds UCLA accountable.
I suggest in the future, the university do sting operations to hold students accountable. Advertise events, announce the rules and the penalties for violation of those rules. Make very large hall halls available. Video tape and require ID’s of those who enter. Anyone, who disrupts is escorted out and arrested, expelled etc…

This article serves as a reminder that during the time I works at a city hospital,, in Pennsylvania, at the public lobby ,there one was a table set up with an official representative of university When I talked with her brought up the subject of Islam and then attempted to tell her about the book written by Robert Spencer entitled THE POLITICALLY INCORRECT GUIDE TO ISLAM.
Her response to the mention of that Book was clear and quick , for she immediately in a very adamant way rejected even the idea of Islam being a violent religion as well as that book ,without even considering reading it.
She replied :”No, there is no religion m,including Islam , that is violent” then she swiftly ended that discussion .
Wow ! Talk about closed minded , that “takes the cake.”
In addition , I later found out that the security guards who work in that hospital are instructed to tell any visitor who might be wearing any kind of “remember September 11, 2002.” They are told to walk over to that person wearing such a T -shirt and say “Muslims are in this hospital and they have rights, please leave this building.”
So much for freedom of speech , this shows that the Muslim ,doctors and others Muslim sure have much power in that American hospital .

The way this article is worded, it implies that Robert Spencer and the group that asked him to speak were not informed beforehand, only realizing the cancellation when they arrived, and the doors remained locked. If so, how classless is UCLA. They would let him spend money on travel and hotel accommodations without advance notice. I suppose they were afraid of the Muslims and their sympathizers going bat-shit crazy.
