Muhammad, according to Islamic tradition, beheaded between 600 and 900 men of the Jewish Qurayzah tribe after the Battle of the Trench, because of their alleged betrayal. Muhammad had already exiled the other two tribes in Medina, and the Qurayzah had no reason to believe he would treat them differently. What is interesting here is that Badawy assumes the truth of the incident. Just a few years ago, Islamic apologists, recognizing that it made Muhammad look bad, routinely denied that it was historically accurate. Of course, Badawy is speaking to a Muslim audience, but in general, Islamic apologists are more forthright now about the aspects of Islam that Westerners consider unpleasant than they were quite recently.
Meanwhile, this statement from Badawy is pure projection: “The same thing you see with Palestine. The devils, the Zionists, have no interest in leaving the Muslims alone over there. They don’t care which borders you go back to, they are going to keep taking and taking and taking.”

Abdelrahman Badawy, Imam and resident scholar of Muslim American Society (MAS) Staten Island Center at a lecture for youth posted on MAS Youth Center on Instagram on April 26, 2024 drew parallels between the medieval Battle of the Trench and current events. He described the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza as sneaky, cunning, conniving, and foul, and he added: “You see the parallels today.” Badawy said that the Zionists, whom he called “devils,” have no intentions of leaving the Muslims alone, because of the “envy, the hatred, and just the evil that is in their hearts.” He continued to say that this nature is the reason that Muslims do not believe in “turning the other cheek.” On Saturday, April 27, Abdelrahman Badawy addressed the CUNY Student Encampment at City College New York, where he was introduced as “resident sheikh and imam at MAS Youth Center.” The advocacy director at MAS Staten Island Center is Abdullah Akl, a graduate student at Harvard and an activist with Within Our Lifetime.
Abdelrahman Badawy: “These people over and over say: ‘Hey, if you don’t like it here, you can leave.’ How many times have you heard that? Now with all the protests, they say: ‘You don’t like it here, you can leave. Go back to Gaza, go back to this, go back to that…’ I have heard that 100 times in the past two weeks. These people don’t actually mean that. They will not leave you alone. The proof is in the pudding. Look at all of our [Muslim] countries. They are not happy leaving us alone. They have been pillaging our resources for as far back as we can remember, stealing all of our resources, they don’t let us… Any time we have any type of self-governance, what do they come in and do? They come in and bring democracy, right? But it’s not really democracy, right?

Also, I had an article about ten or more years ago detailing the capture of Yathrib, which Mohammed renamed Medina, but I’ve misplaced than one too. Do you any article regarding the timeframe for that?

I see things exactly as you do, Wellington, when it comes to this foul ideology, islam. Yes, I believe that almost every non-Muslim with a functioning brain should have woken up to islam by now. I keep thinking that letting the Muslim enemy into non-Muslim countries is the most idiotic move ever and I also keep thinking that future generations in all our countries are going curse the traitorous, or maybe just imbecilic, creatures in our generation who decided that letting the invading Muslims into our countries was a sensible idea, because they are going to have to deal with the monumental problem of trying to cope with the Muslim enemy who will be trying to impose barbaric islam on all of us. The Hungarians and Poles and few others get it and shut islam out. You are right about the left who are scum that hate our western way of life as much as the Muslims do. I don’t see a happy ending to this insanity of letting Muslims invade our countries. As you describe it, it is a civilisation committing suicide and going down the drain at a pretty rapid rate. It is sad to watch this happening and I wish it would turn around, but I can’t see it happening. As you say, the past half century has been mostly dismal and destructive with plenty of complete fools and cowards in charge and western civilisation in decline and the rate of decline speeding up in recent years.
