How do you ensure more campus pro-terror riots? By subsidizing them.
In any discussion about the pro-Hamas riots, it’s important to make the point that they are being ultimately subsidized by the universities. Student activity fees go to fund pro-terror campus groups like Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the pro-terror speakers that are brought in.
At Northwestern University, the message is that the university leadership will boost terror subsidies.
After five days of anti-Israel demonstrators occupying Deering Meadow on Northwestern University’s campus, Northwestern president Michael Schill and the rest of the university’s leadership decided to accede to several of the protesters’ demands.
While not committing to divesting its endowment from companies that do business in Israel and ending partnerships with Israeli institutions, the university released a list of concessions in a celebratory statement Monday afternoon in exchange for the removal of the encampment on the lawn.
Most notable among those concessions is a promise to offer full-ride scholarships to Palestinian students and guaranteed faculty jobs for Palestinian academics.
“The University will support visiting Palestinian faculty and students at risk (funding two faculty per year for two years; and providing full cost of attendance for five Palestinian undergraduates to attend Northwestern for the duration of their undergraduate careers),” the document reads. “The University commits to fundraise to sustain this program beyond this current commitment.”
The message is that staging pro-Hamas riots will lead to a deal with the university leadership. So there’s no reason not to do it over and over again to extract more concessions. But that’s been the message since the 60s. And the demand here will ensure more pro-terror activists on campus to stage more riots to extract more concessions. Like most leftist activism, it’s a self-feeding extortion loop and the only way to win is to stop feeding it.

In South America, there are gangs which make a living off of kidnapping rich people. They may allow the victim to go free after the ransom is paid, but will watch and wait and then kidnap the same victim again, and again.
This university has given in to the ghouls. They may believe this is a “win” for the school. But it will only be a little while until more demands are made.
And if the school does not get the “donor” money, they will up the cost of admissions and courses for all other students in order to keep funding terror.
At UF, nine people were arrested, six of them students. One loudmouth woman, who admits that she is an organizer of protests, and has organized many protests at UF, says she is now “afraid” that she won’t be able to keep up the protests in the future.
And that’s a good thing. Northwestern should be willing to do the same.
Negotiating with criminals is not to give the criminals what they want…it has a totally different goal.
The officials of Northwestern are a bunch of idiots who don’t realize how stupid they are and how they have been played.

No greater idiots exist than the overeducated idiots in academia. I know this firsthand from spending a third of a century in academia, and just about the most tedious, useless and annoying time I spent in any given year was having to be present at faculty meetings where moral and common sense idiots aplenty, replete with all kinds of degrees, spouted one piece of nonsense after another but all the while thinking that their assessments were rooted in reason and wisdom.
They were not. Far from it. Reminds me here of what JFK said and that is that he had rarely met an intellectual “with both feet on the ground.” True then when JFK stated this and still true now. No group of people have done more harm to Western societies than the intellectuals. Still the case.

No problem. Between Soros and Qatar there is enough money to fill every student spot with a Hamas’ or Islamic Jihad boy or girl. Of course the schools academic position will drop below zero nationally and the US will begin to see the same number of Nobel Prize winners as do the Palestinian people. However, Soros and Qatar will simply increase their “donations” to bring smiles to the faces of the School’s Board of Directors. So let the Champagne flow at the President’s office and pot smoke fill the halls of the dormitories and watch the suicide of American Universities ( and America as well ) right into their grave.

Fools! ! ! they have just guaranteed there will be additional riots and vandalism. There needs to be a change of management. Aluma must stop donating funds as long as this destructive conduct is allowed.
As long as the disruptions are allowed the students are not getting the education they are paying for.

If you are a young or old person who want’s to support Hamas or any anti-American organization or country, go over there and live and support them, fine with me. But don’t disrupt other peoples lives here. Put your MONEY and effort into actualy going over and helping the poor Palestinians who SUPPORT and ATTACKED ISRAEL. And DON’T come back. If anyone read the statement of the Colombian president for May1st and 2nd you’ll see that she’s negotiating a type of divestment with Israel. Do a search and read her words. I’m just going to come out and say it. WE SHOULD ALL KNOW BETTER than to attempt to live with Islamists. It hasn’t worked in more than 1400 years and if one just looks at the last twenty years, those that have paid attention know that there isn’t a peaceful solution with them. There should be no immigration into the US by Islam unless they are TRUE and verifiable amnesty cases. They shouldn’t be at American universities either. We should separate ourselves from them entirely.
