“ECWA Pastor Slain in Kaduna State, Nigeria,” Morning Star News, April 29, 2024:
ABUJA, Nigeria (Christian Daily International–Morning Star News) – A Christian pastor was killed last week as he traveled to minister to church members in northern Kaduna state, sources said.
While Fulani herdsmen and other terrorists have been active in southern Kaduna state, the Rev. Manasseh Ibrahim was shot to death by “bandits” who ambushed him in a northern part of the state along the Birnin Gwari-Kaduna Highway on Tuesday (April 23), according to the Birnin Gwari chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
“Rev. Manasseh Ibrahim, a pastor with ECWA [Evangelical Church Winning All] Church, Gure, was on his way for a pastoral church ministration in the Kurebe area of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state when he was ambushed and killed by the bandits,” the local CAN chairman, the Rev. Yahaya Kinge, said in a press statement.
Pastor Ibrahim was serving with the ECWA Gure congregation under the ECWA Kaduna Central District Church Council (KCDCC), he said. His remains were transferred to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna city….

The slaughter of Christians by muslims in Nigeria is like a broken record.
It’s not that we don’t care – I, as well as many others, have commented about these atrocities dozens of times.
Nothing will change until the Christians are armed – heavily.
There is only so many ways that you can say this…

It’s a concern to me. I pray every day for the solution…”God’s Kingdom to come and God’s Will to be done.”
I can only stand reading so much of what satan’s children are doing to Christ’s children. The little kids, the moms and dads and the young men who have dedicated their lives to trying to help people with the “good news of the kingdom”…and those lives being sacrificed to satan by the mozlum hordes.
I see the fulfillment of the “sign” Jesus gave His disciples and know that “deliverance is near.”

Christians do as Jesus said to do, remembering that those “who live by the sword, will die by the sword.”
**If** Christians had weapons as people say they need, each one would be using his own conscience as to when and how to use said weapons..
Self-defense is allowed, but not active warfare, according to the commands of Jesus.
Jesus said this persecution would happen. He is the One Who will end it.
