The common thread among so many of the combative mindsets across the globe that have brought about wars is religion. In the case of Gaza, it is Hamas and their need for jihad which is predicated on their religious hatred of the Jews which is taught to very young children at their earliest exposure to school. Actually, no. In Manipur, there is an attrition war by Kukis, who at least claim to be Christian (I’ll leave it to Christians to determine how authentic they are), who have been either massacring Hindu Meiteis, or driving them out of Manipur. Yesterday, on X, there was a video of a Kuki gunman shooting a couple of time a cow that was tied to a tree, and the description by the posters noted that the reason they do it is to taunt the Meiteis, as well as damage their livelihood
Normal Christians in the rest of India are fine, and get along fine w/ Hindus. There are some who consider themselves closer to muslims, b’cos… Abrahamic, but otherwise, as David Wood himself noted, they normally get along just fine w/ Hindus
