In Vancouver, ‘We stand with the Palestinian resistance and their heroic brave action on October 7’

It gets worse and worse, on crazed campuses and neighborhoods across North America, as the frenzied desire spreads to denounce Israel and support those terrorist groups whose reason for being is to see the Jewish state destroyed and replaced by a 23rd Arab one. The latest display of people proudly spewing their antisemitic venom took place in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 27. Anti-Israel protesters praised the October 7 massacre and several terrorist organizations at a Vancouver rally on Friday according to a video published by Free Palestine Tri-cities British Columbia, demanding that the groups be removed from Canada’s list of terrorist entities.

Charlotte Kates, the international coordinator for the allegedly Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-affiliated (PFLP) Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, led demonstrators in a chant proclaiming “Long live October 7.”

“We stand with the Palestinian resistance and their heroic brave action on October 7,” Kates said in her speech on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Yes, let us remember that “heroic brave action” on October 7. On that day, 3,000 Hamas operatives smashed into Israel, in cars and tractors, on motorbikes, and on paragliders. They proceeded to rape, torture, mutilate, and kill. They burned children alive. They gang-raped young girls, and videotaped their rapes. They made relatives watch as their family members were being raped. They stabbed or fired into the vaginas of many girls and women; They sliced the breasts off women and used them to play ghoulish games of catch. They cut off the genitalia off men. They gouged out the eyes of both men and women. We need to keep all that steadily in mind when we hear Charlotte Kates describe the “brave heroic action” by Hamas on October 7.

The events of October 7, according to Kates, indicated that Palestinians had almost achieved victory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Kates criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and opposition leader Pierre Poilievre for denouncing the Hamas-led pogrom, but for not uttering similar denunciations for the subsequent Israeli operations in Gaza.

How had the Palestinians “almost achieved their victory” from the Jordan to the sea by October 7? Israel was, and remains, securely in control of Judea and Samaria (a/k/a the West Bank). Half a million Israelis now live there, and they are not going to move, whatever Hamas chooses to believe. On October 6, Hamas was still exercising its despotic and corrupt rule in Gaza, through force and the threat of force. Those living under the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank have been even more desperate than the Gazans for a change in their government. In an opinion poll, 85% of those living in the PA territories wanted Mahmoud Abbas to resign. Both the PA and Hamas are completely dependent economically on outside aid for their continued existence. Both Hamas and the PA leaders have stolen large amounts of that aid. Just three Hamas leaders – Khaled Meshaal, Mousa bin Marzouk, and Ismail Haniyeh – have stolen $11 billion among themselves. Mahmoud Abbas and his two sons Yasser and Tarek have accumulated a fortune of $400 million. In what way, then, can Charlotte Kates claim that the Palestinians “almost achieved their victory” from the river to the sea before October 7?

Kates glorified the “beautiful, brave and heroic resistance of the Palestinian people, which did not begin on October 7, which has continued for over 75 years, which has continued over 120 years.”

The “Palestinian people” did not exist 120 years, nor 75 years ago. They came into fictional existence only in the mid-1960s, most tentatively, and then burst into full bloom after the Six-Day War, when the Palestinian Arab refugees, and those living in Gaza and the West Bank, prompted by the KGB, decided to call themselves the “Palestinian people.” Thus the gang-up of nearly two-dozen Arab states against the one tiny Jewish state could now be represented to the world as a conflict between “two peoples,” roughly equivalent, with the “Palestinian people” having been cruelly dispossessed of their land by the Jews who, the Arabs claimed, were not indigenous but came from outside the Middle East.

Zuheir Mohsen, leader of the Palestinian terror group As Saiqa, explained why the “Palestinian people” were invented in an interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw: “The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons.” Charlotte Kates won’t like to hear it. But then, you and I are not Charlotte Kates. We can bear to hear the truth.

    How much would she “resist” if some serial rapist caught her on the street, or in her bedroom (more rapes happen in the woman’s home than on the streets), and made her a victim of sexual assault? Serious doubt that she would see the rape as a “resistance” of something…perhaps laws against rape…on the part of the rapist.
    Would she see it as “heroic” and “brave” ? What if he held a blade to her throat and began to slice? Knowing she was about to die, would she think of him as a “hero” and “brave” and “resisting” what he opposed?

    This ghoul will reap as she sows. And for her lies, she just may end up in a very, very hot lake.

If this “Charlotte Kates” believes that gang rapes followed by cutting the breasts off the victims body and ending it with a bullet in her head and vagina is heroic then she better get herself over to Gaza and join up with the organization that performed that monstrous and sickening behavior.

    One would suppose people attend universities to learn, further their education, or at least learn right from wrong; but it appears unis are only turning out leftist thugs.

As a mature Heterosexual Caucasian Male I have noticed that the vast majority of these Lefty Loonies that are ”female” are mainly fat assed butt ugly wastes of space with a foul mouth and tattoos and this Kates one is a perfect example of what young Western girls use as a Role Model, basically the support of a gang of thugs that raped, defiled and beheaded young girls exactly like themselves while denigrating the real Men that are hunting down the thugs that raped, defiled and beheaded young girls just like them.

These people want nothing more than to be in the spot light and the media supports them to sell advertising and to fill the 24/7 news cycle. She-IT has the right to frees speech, but the NEWS MEDIA doesn’t have to spread the B.S.
