In response to campus attacks on Jewish students, Biden condemns antisemitism and ‘Islamophobia’

Old Joe Biden said this on Thursday:

Threatening people, intimidating people, instilling fear in people is not peaceful protest. It’s against the law.

Dissent is essential to democracy. But dissent must never lead to disorder or to denying the rights of others so students can finish the semester and their college education.

Look, it’s basically a matter of fairness. It’s a matter of what’s right. There’s the right to protest but not the right to cause chaos.

People have the right to get an education, the right to get a degree, the right to walk across the campus safely without fear of being attacked.

But let’s be clear about this as well. There should be no place on any campus, no place in America for antisemitism or threats of violence against Jewish students. There is no place for hate speech or violence of any kind, whether it’s antisemitism, Islamophobia, or discrimination against Arab Americans or Palestinian Americans.

Why did he throw “Islamophobia” in there? Where are Muslim students being threatened or intimidated, or prevented from finishing the semester and their college education? Nowhere. But Old Joe doesn’t want to alienate his Jew-hating far-left base. That’s why he is betraying Israel, and that’s why he makes moronic statements like this.

  20. Joe did promise to bring us all together and, after 3 and a half years, he’s done it. He is hated in equal measure by both conservatives and Marxists. Equating the defense of Israel with “fear of Islam” is complete twaddle. Islam has no intention of “co-existing” with any other religion, contrary to popular bumper stickers. Peace in a population will only last until they number about 20%, then they will begin to attack churches and apostates alike, until either all the apostates are dead, or the Muslim are dead.

    This should be abundantly clear from study of the Ottoman Empire, but schools don’t even mention it. Vienna, Lepanto, Jerusalem, Constantinople, the Iberian peninsula, it didn’t matter where or when. They killed all of you or you killed all of them.

    The US didn’t knock off WWII six months after Pearl Harbor, and we would have never listened to anyone suggesting we were over-reacting. We ended up either fire-bombing or nuking their civilian populations, both approaches far more heinous than anything the Israelis are doing right now.

    But we have to be tolerant of the Palestinians, even though they overwhelming voted for Hamas leadership. You remember the Palestinians? The ones dancing in the street back in 9/11, handing out treats to the little ones?
