Ah, yes, it’s the continuing saga of Harvard, recently listed as the very last out of 258 universities in its protection of free speech. After all, just try to speak up for Israel at Harvard these days, and see just how hard the university fights to protect you from being shouted down, or chased out, or held, albeit briefly, hostage.
Harvard knew it had a problem with how Jewish students and faculty were being treated. So under the serial plagiarist president Claudine Gay (who, though forced to resign, is for some reason still receiving her presidential salary of $900,000), it appointed a committee to look into antisemitism on the campus and to come up with recommendations as to how to deal with it. The committee did as it was directed. It made recommendations. Harvard then did nothing. Now a Congressional committee has been looking into the moral morass on the Charles, and come up with some scathing conclusions. The Committee on Education & the Workforce, led by Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC), highlighted on Thursday severe shortcomings in Harvard University’s approach to handling antisemitism on its campus. This revelation comes from a detailed investigative update which includes internal documents that were subpoenaed earlier this year.
According to the update, Harvard’s Antisemitism Advisory Group (AAG) had put forward a set of robust recommendations aimed at curbing antisemitic incidents at the university. These recommendations, however, were neither publicized nor implemented, raising questions about the university’s commitment to combating this issue.
The documents revealed that the AAG found antisemitic harassment to be a significant issue at Harvard, leading to a point where a majority of the AAG members even threatened to resign due to the perceived inadequacy of the university’s response.
Chairwoman Foxx criticized the former university president, stating, “The Committee’s report proves that former President Gay and Harvard’s leadership merely used the AAG for optics without taking real action. This is a clear display of the dysfunctional administration and moral decay at Harvard.”
The AAG’s recommendations included enforcing a zero-tolerance policy for classroom disruptions, protecting shared learning environments, holding student organizations accountable, countering antisemitic speech, and reviewing academic content for antisemitic biases. Furthermore, concerns about the potential influence of “dark money” linked to Iran, Qatar, and associates of terrorist groups on campus activities were also brought to light….
Thank god for that no-nonsense Congresswoman, Virginia Foxx, who has exposed for all the world to see Harvard’s malign indifference to the findings of the Antisemitism Advisory Group that President Gay had appointed, it is now clear, merely for “the optics.” Massachusetts Hall has been a veritable Potemkin Village of furrowed-brow pretend-concern. Perhaps now, far from Harvard Yard’s ignoble strife, in Washington, these hearings will force Harvard to accept and implement the AAG’s recommendations. Harvard thinks, being Harvard, that ordinary rules do not apply to it. Congresswoman Foxx is about to prove Harvard wrong.

Perhaps the buildings, the campus, computers, bank accounts, etc. of Harvard, can be given to a school which has proven….if there are any….to be fair, just, a place to be actually educated in medicine, law, etc. and has an admin which does not allow liars and thieves to be in charge.(plagiarism is the practice of stealing and lying about it)
