Families of deceased hostages whose bodies are still being held by Hamas in Gaza carried an empty coffin through Jerusalem on Thursday to raise awareness of their plight and call for the return of their loved ones.
“I am attending this rally because we, the families of deceased hostages, are a unique group,” Ruby Chen, the father of American-Israeli dual citizen Sgt. Itay Chen, 19, told JNS on Thursday.
Itay, from Netanya, was stationed at the Nahal Oz army base as part of a tank unit when he was captured along with three other soldiers on Oct. 7. He was one of six hostages with U.S. citizenship thought to have still been alive in Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces declared him dead on March 12.
“We decided to organize an alternative service to highlight the fact that the State of Israel must do everything it can to bring all the hostages back, both the living and the deceased,” Ruby Chen said.
Hundreds of new families will be mourning on Yom Hazikaron: Memorial Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism, though some will not have anywhere to pay their respects.
“We do not have a burial site. If you ask me where I will be going on Monday, I can tell that I don’t have a good answer,” Chen told JNS. He will also be attending Saturday’s rally at Tel Aviv’s “Hostage Square,” which this week will focus on those declared dead in Gaza.
“I am calling on the people of Israel to join us. I am asking leaders and people worldwide to pray with us regardless of their religion so that we will be able to have closure and that our deceased will be buried in dignity,” Chen said.
According to the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, 38 families in Israel will be mourning while the remains of their loved ones are still held by Hamas in Gaza….

Israel is defending her nation state and Israeli Citizens from these HAMAS BUTCHERS who have not returned all the Israeli hostages.

Hamas butchers and allies are allowed to commit atrocities because they are followers of their “god”. Too many others are fearful to the point of unwillingness to oppose the butchers.

The ghouls know that it matters to the families. Causing pain, sorrow and grief is what they do most. And as others posted, they only have some of the remains, what they didn’t cut to tiny pieces, burn, or possibly even consume, and if they return these, no holds barred from that point.
Nothing left to cause pain, sorrow and grief, and no reason for the families to pressure the government, if they return what’s left.
I read early this morning about a young man of 19, killed in Korea, whose remains were found some years ago and sent as ‘unknown’ (with a number) to be buried in HI. They were recently identified through DNA, and returned to what’s left of his family; all those who knew him are also dead. They plan to bury him with his mom’s ashes.
War makes this kind of thing happen over and over. And it’s always painful. Always very sad.

Hours later, in the second video, it said Popplewell died of wounds sustained a month ago in an Israeli air strike.
Hamas said Popplewell, whom it said was also a British citizen, was being detained with a woman hostage when the place they were being held was targeted by an Israeli missile.
“He died because he didn’t receive intensive medical care at medical facilities because of the enemy’s destruction of hospitals in Gaza,” the Hamas armed wing spokesman, Abu Ubaida, said in a statement.”

To take hostages is immoral enough and to use them as bargaining chips is even worse but to kill them while in the custody of the evil ones denotes the depths of their depravity AND yet there are those in Western societies who support Hamas in their worship of Satan. Hamas and it’s supporters should be wiped off the face of the earth and their supporters in Western countries rounded up and DEPORTED as they are a DANGER to the host countries.
Imagine the international uproar if Israel were to do the same, which obviously it wouldn’t as being law abiding moral people they would not dream of it , such is the gulf between the two peoples and religions.

Things in Israel are about to get much worse because of two things: (1) The invasion of Rafah, and (2) can you imagine what Israel will do to the remnants of Hamas when they finally discover that most of the remaining hostage are dead, and many have been mutilated and raped? According to the American right-wing outlet Fox News, Tlaib’s office declined to respond to their request to comment on whether Hamas should be held responsible for the October 7 massacre.
Despite similar stances from other “Squad” members, 12 US senators led by Senator Tom Cotton warned in a letter to Karim A. A. Khan, the ICC prosecutor, that any actions against Netanyahu would result in severe sanctions.
The letter, obtained by Fox News Digital, says that actions against Netanyahu would be “illegitimate and lack legal basis, and if carried out will result in severe sanctions against you and your institution. The ICC is attempting to punish Israel for taking legitimate actions of self-defense against their Iranian-backed aggressors. These arrest warrants would align the ICC with the largest state sponsor of terrorism and its proxy.””
And since tlaib is calling, demanding, the icc to arrest the members of the Israeli government, she is “aligned with the largest state sponsor of terrorism and its proxy.”
tlaib needs to be investigated for her part in supporting terrorism. Certainly, she has no business getting a pay check for her evil actions.
“The letter reminds Khan that the ICC did not issue warrants for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or any other Iranian official, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad or any other Syrian official, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh or any other Hamas official nor General Secretary of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, or any other Chinese official.
“If you issue a warrant for the arrest of the Israeli leadership, we will interpret this not only as a threat to Israel’s sovereignty but to the sovereignty of the United States,” the senators said.
The letter ends by warning that any action against either country would result in the end of all US support for the ICC, sanctioning of ICC employees and associates, and barring Khan and his family from the US.”
