Yet Turkey is still in NATO, despite Hamas being listed as a terror group by the US and other NATO countries.
“Secret papers reveal Hamas plan to set up base in Turkey,” by Anshel Pfeffer, The Times, May 13 2024:
Hamas planned to establish a secret base in Turkey and other terror cells elsewhere to co-ordinate attacks against Israeli targets in neighbouring countries, including Nato members, according to files captured by the Israeli army in Gaza and seen by The Times.
The printed document titled “Founding a base in Turkey” was discovered in the home of Hamza Abu Shanab, chief of staff to Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’s leader in Gaza, the Israelis claim. It describes efforts by Israel to clamp down on the Gaza Strip over the past decade that had put Hamas on the defensive….

How about that for an ally?

Why not? hamas has its cells in the U.S. To see proof of that, just look to any news source which has covered even one university protest in favor of hamas murdering, torturing and raping Jews and calling it ‘resistance.’
From NYC to Los Angeles, from Texas to Washington State, from Duke U to Arizona U, pretend ‘students’ have garnered lots of support from real students, u staffs, news outlets, and even some politicians (bowser of D.C. for one, r tlaib rep for islam MI for another) in their fight to make the U.S. take the side of hamas terrorists against the people hamas wants to annihilate.
No one should be surprised if hamas gets its own caucus in the House and a resolution to declare it a civil rights org and not a terror org.

We are tired of people defending those ham eating muslims.the hamasses. No one knows of hamasses terrorizin gazans who are against hamass’ dictatorship. If any gazan speaks against the hamasses they are immediately executed by hamass. And they blame Israel ?

I hope Hamas staffs this new base very well. That would need to be in the vicinity of 2.5 million Gazans. Never can have enough staff.
John Smith says
Erdogan isn’t the only one who wants to help out hamas, the UK’s labour party also wants to help hamas. It was only the other day that Sam Tarry labour MP stood up in parliament and called for a scheme to be
introduced, to allow anyone who wants to flee Gaza sanctuary in the UK.
Lee Anderson of the Reform party also claims Keir Starmer has plans for a homes for hamas scheme. I don’t know how true that is, but Rishi Sunak has said on several occasions that Starmer intends to give an amnesty to all illegal migrants living in the UK.

John, all of the “leaders” are so hostile to their nation’s citizens and so helpful and accommodating to the terrorists. None of us have to wonder just what the scheme is.
John Smith says
Somehistory, I wouldn’t say, “all of the leaders are so hostile to their nations ctizens and so helpful and accommodating to the terrorists,” as there are exceptions, such as Viktor Orban, and even Trump, But sadly your statement does apply to most of our leaders in the western world.
somehistory says
John, that was my basic meaning of “all”….the ones who are allowing mozlums to take over, do as they wish, and have things handed to them…doesn’t include those opposing the mozlum invasion.

Should we be surprised? People working in the Israel/Syrian/Kurdish areas in the past ten years in a missions capacity have stated that Turkey sheltered ISIS leaders and cells just inside their border. They also helped them in manifold ways, surreptitiously. They said “How do you think ISIS could afford and obtain all those Hi-Lux vehicles and other expensive equipment? It all came across through the Turkish border. They turned a blind eye and maybe even co-ordinated, all the while pretending to be fighting ISIS.
Crafty back-stabber.
I can never forget the images of those poor Yazidis fleeing on foot by the thousands, to try and get away from ISIS before they arrived. And ISIS goons roaring across the desert in those trucks, with machine guns at the ready. Absolutely bone-chilling.
WHY didn’t the West step in and try to get those vulnerable people out? Everyone just watched. Sickening. There are still Yazidi women and children being held prisoner, and ransomed, for more money than the families can pay. Look at all the money thrown into fake refugee schemes. Money sent to Ukraine. Money sent to Gaza–which goes into the pockets of Hamas. Money sent to…IRAN. Makes me sick.

Turkey, no surprise they support Hamas. Question, Why is Turkey still a member of NATO. I doubt that Turkey will stand with the other NATO countries in their defense.
Myron J.Poltroonian says
None of this is either surprising, nor unexpected. The 14 hundred plus year war will not end until one side or the other emerges victorious. Somehow, I just don’t envision returning the world to the Seventh Century as a desirable “Back to the Future” outcome.
