The disruption, intimidation, calls for violence and hygiene concerns linked to the pro-Hamas encampments throughout the U.S. are widely known. Amid these protests, many in the mainstream media eagerly point out the Hamas-derived number of Gazan civilian casualties, while exonerating Hamas for being the sole cause of any casualties. Israel has no choice but to protect itself from Hamas terrorists who are intentionally hiding in populated areas.
In Canada, hate laws were manipulated and overused when applied in the face of “Islamophobia” accusations. But with antisemitism at worrying levels, unseen since the Holocaust, those laws seem to have gone limp. Why? Fear of severe retaliation by the pro-Hamas network? Appeasement will only serve to embolden the Palestinian “resistance” from the River to the Sea.
Rather than use Canada’s hate laws to allow police to remove the encampments, McGill University went to a judge to order pro-Hamas protesters off campus, citing valid “safety and health concerns.” It didn’t get any easier, as talks between McGill University and the pro-Palestinian encampment broke down because the university sought the injunction. Not that talks would have made a difference. Palestinian “resistance” supporters want Israel delegitimized and finally obliterated from the River to the Sea. There is no reasoning with that. Yet many woke useful idiots who have joined the cause have no idea what the cause is about. They are simply responding to the need to latch onto a cause that is driving the news cycle.
A contrasting situation unfolded in Calgary, where, on request of the university, police “moved in to break up a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people on campus at the University of Calgary.” This is should be the standard scenario everywhere that chants are heard calling for the obliteration of Israel from the River to the Sea, along with calls to “globalize the intifada.”

Talks between McGill University and the pro-Palestinian encampment on its grounds have broken down since the university requested an injunction to remove the camp last Friday, according to a representative from the encampment.
“Negotiations have ceased, essentially,” said the SPHR McGill representative, who did not give their name. SPHR is an abbreviation for Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights.
Now in its third week, the encampment emerged, after similar protests at U.S. colleges, to demand McGill divest from companies linked to Israel. The North American protests followed Israel’s invasion of Gaza and the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians there. That itself was precipitated by Hamas’s attack on Oct. 7 where more than 1,200 Israelis and foreigners were killed.
The representative said McGill and the encampment members were engaged in negotiations before the university filed its injunction request, but the university has since not come back with a proposal.
It comes as lawyers for McGill and unnamed encampment members appeared in court Monday, with the university seeking a court order to have the camp removed.
In its court filing, the university argues that the camp has escalated tensions on campus and that there is a “risk for safety, security, and health.” A decision from the judge is expected this week….

First of all, it’s not “tens of thousands” Palestinian deaths and it certainly is even less so, since HAM-ASS came out with reduced numbers only yesterday .. approx 50% less than those reported previously.
Secondly, why did the university even start talks with the encampment representatives. Who negotiates with terrorists? Bad move, very bad move.

I find it truly bizarre when I witness young girls in total support of a gang of thugs that raped defiled and beheaded young girls that look exactly like them, same age, same style, or lack thereof, same tattoos, same taste in music, basically noise, same middle class life style and yet they openly denigrate the men that are hunting down the rapists that beheaded young girls just like them.

In Calgary, Alberta the police did what no one else dared to do. They had the balls to remove the illegal campment. Edmonton followed the next day. These people are trespassing and should be treated as trespassers.
Trudeau has eroded our freedom of speech to bend to the Muslims. We are racists if we go against whatever he says. I fear it is too late for Canada now.
