See who’s driving the leftist/Islamic alliance? See which side will come out on top when they inevitably turn on one another?
“Good Move, socialists bury eco-socialism,” translated from “Good Move, les socialistes enterrent l’éco-socialisme,” by Bertrand Henne, RTBF Actus, May 16, 2024 (thanks to Medforth):
Socialists join the ranks of the anti-Good Move. The mobility plan for the capital that the PS decided with its partners seems indefensible one month before the election. Paul Magnette’s ecosocialism will remain in the books.
Death certificate
After months of fighting a long and painful illness, we learned of the death of an idea. Belgian-style ecosocialism did not resist the attack from the Brussels PS and Ahmed Laaouej, its president. A few months ago, he refused to carry out, in his municipality, the mobility plan decided by the government, called Good Move. He also tried to postpone the deadlines for the low-emission zone which provides for a ban on the most polluting cars. He now considers that Good Move was wrong and that it was a failure. In short, ecosocialism as a concept seems dead in Brussels, at least under the leadership of Ahmed Laaouej.Old idea
Ecosocialism is a concept that has existed since the 1970s. It aims to rethink Marxism according to new climatic and environmental realities. A refusal of productivism that Paul Magnette has taken up to try to transform the software of Belgian socialism for several years now. A strategic reform in the face of challenges. A tactical redeployment also in the face of the rise of Ecolo in 2019.But in reality, ecosocialism has had difficulty finding concrete translations. And then, he has a hard time convincing the socialist troops, particularly in Brussels.
A Brussels shift
In Brussels, because there Ecolo had, more than in Wallonia, succeeded in imprinting environmentalist accents in the government agreement. 5 years ago, under the patronage of Laurette Onkelinx, the Socialists accepted an ambitious mobility plan aimed at rebalancing soft mobility versus the car. In short, to reduce the place of the car in public spaces. Generalization of 30 km/h, new cycle paths instead of traffic lanes, Good Move plan, reduction in parking spaces and increase in prices. All of these policies have caused frustration among many motorists. In the municipalities north of Brussels, the PTB won back part of the PS electorate with an openly pro-car speech, posing the working classes as victims of bicycle injuries. The MR, also in good shape in the polls, holds a pro-car discourse in favor of other categories of the population.
Ahmed Laaouej, who replaced Laurette Onkelinx at PS Brussels, attributes the spectacular erosion of the Socialists in the polls to these mobility policies. Enough to make many Brussels socialists doubt and question this ecosocialism coming from above. Many, but not all. Philippe Close and Caroline Désir, for example, remain aligned with ecosocialism, but in the face of polls, let Ahmed Laaouej try everything for everything.
Doubt
The PS is therefore in difficulty in Brussels. And one month before the elections, in full doubt. For more than a year we have been witnessing a misalignment of the PS with the Greens. The Josaphat wasteland issue which blocked the government for several weeks shows this. But Ahmed Laaouej’s declarations one month before the election, in this polarized debate, now place the PS in the camp of the pro-car parties, with the MR and the PTB, facing the Ecolos. The voter will say whether this clarification was beneficial for the PS or whether it was the desperate maneuver of a party in full doubt about its political identity.

Why do I deserve it? What have I done?
࿗Infidel࿘ says
Not you individually, but you, as a collective, have not merely tolerated, but kept re-electing leaders like Merkel, Macron, & others like them who’ve thrown open Europe to all sorts of muslims from all over the world – from Afghanistan to Gambia, totally disregarding what the results are for the people of various countries
Individually, you may never have supported any of that. But ultimately, it’s the decisions driven by the majority of European regimes that drive EU policy, and that’s the price you’re paying
I foresee civil wars in most European countries b/w those sick of what the muslims have done vs the Elitists plus the muslims. It’ll make WWII look like a walk in the park

“an openly pro-car speech, posing the working classes as victims of bicycle injuries”
Clutching at straws, the most ridiculous comment I’ve read in many years.
This world has gone totally completely insane!
࿗Infidel࿘ says
No, what is insane is levantine bureaucracies, be it in the EU or individual members, US and Canada trying to decide for everyone whether, not where cars can be driven, or owned. Part of this jihad against cars is to try & force everyone to use
publicgovernment transportation. In the US, reason Black Rock is buying up suburban housing & trying to convert them into projects is so that nobody can own single family homes, & implement the government’s “Affirmatively furthering fair housing” plansThe plan is for everybody to live in centrally planned areas, never travel beyond 5 miles from their homes (which is inevitable if one doesn’t have a car), and get everything in their lives from the likes of Amazon, or other major online merchants that sell. In other words, a fascist regime, where you have government control, but private industry acting on the whims of government
Essentially Klaus Schwab’s “You-will-own-nothing-and-you-will-be-happy”! If owning nothing makes people happy, why does Klaus Schwab own nothing? All those jetsetters at Davos conferences burn more fuel than the rest of us combined, yet they demand that we give up our polluting ways. As Andrew Wilkow has astutely observed, socialism is not for the socialist: it’s for the plebes. At the end of the 1980s, it was obvious when people saw the palatial setups of Nicolae Ceausescu & other Communist leaders of Eastern Europe
So much as I loathe Muslims, if they are the catalyst that prevents a Fascist takeover of the West, I’m all for it. That doesn’t mean that they get to stay: once we have regimes that have their collective head on right, we’d tell them that disowning Islam is a necessary condition for them to remain

doesKlaus Schwab own nothing?somehistory says
Some individuals are unable to ride bikes and need their cars to get around. Governments want to put everyone in a box and make all decisions, no matter what.
Today, it seems that **all** of them want the same thing: to dominate and control while making promises to not do so in order to be elected.
࿗Infidel࿘ says
The grand plan is to have everyone live in districts that are so planned that they’d have everything one needs – a local grocery, apparel stores and everything else one can imagine one needs. The result being that anyone should theoretically be able to walk down to the grocery store (not even ride on bikes: I doubt that there would be many bike stands, and also, it’s pretty dangerous trying to bike while carrying grocery bags in one’s hands), buy just enough that one can carry, and go home. It would also cut down on consumption, which they consider a sin. Beyond that, if one needs something niche, one can always go to Amazon, so that they can wipe out whatever little employment opportunities that exist for young people entering the workforce (never mind elderly people who still need jobs)
I’ve heard Andrew Wilkow lay out a number of times a model by which the government can flip states to the party, just like California. Right now, they’re accepting illegals w/o limit. We know that the Federal government owns thousands of acres of land in various red states. Let’s say they decide to take a stretch of it in Wyoming, which has a total population of a bit over half a million. There, they have HUD build a massive project city, w/ a total of a million units, and move in a million of those migrants. Next, Department of Education builds a number of public schools there, HHS builds hospitals, and they get their pals in Corporate America to build a few stores there. You’ll have a city in that state which will have the same effect as Chicago does on Illinois, and viola! Wyoming will be a blue state.
It’s not a conspiracy theory: Colorado has proven that migration can flip states, while California has shown how it can be done. Over time, they can flip every state in the US, so that people will have nowhere to flee. All those college kids bitching about colonization will then discover what colonization really is – a remote regime dictating to you how you live your life
