A senior government adviser on terrorism has warned of the rise of dangerous Islamic gangs in Britain’s prisons after a huge increase in the number of Muslim inmates.
Jonathan Hall KC, the Government’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, described Muslim gangs as ‘a deep seated phenomenon’ in jails.
The leading barrister first highlighted the pressure on inmates to convert to Islam to get protection in a 2022 report which he authored into terrorism in prisons.
He revealed how Islamic terrorists sometimes used gangs to seize control of prison wings, and to impose sharia law on prisoners including flogging.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Mr Hall said: ‘What I found was that gangs were a deep seated phenomenon and expected as part of the prison landscape.
‘There were a combination of circumstances which have led to Muslim gangs becoming the principal, and central gangs for people who ultimately wanted protection.’
The adviser echoed claims made this week by convicted murderer Steve Gallant, a hero of the London Bridge terror attack, that prisoners were being threatened with violence to convert.
Mr Hall said: ‘There is an inevitable pressure in prisons for people to join a group. If the current flavour is Muslim, it could lead to them joining.
‘If you have an emir at the top of a prison gang who is a terrorist offender or strongly radicalised, then the risk of people joining this group, even just for protection, could result in them being radicalised.’
Ministry of Justice figures recently revealed there were 15,584 Muslim prisoners in England and Wales last September compared to just 3,681 in 1997.
The increase of 323 per cent presents a large pool of potential recruits to Muslim gangs in jails which are described by Mr Hall as being ‘highly structured’ with growing influence.
The figures disclose that 18 per cent of all inmates now identify as Muslim, nearly three times the 6.5 per cent in the general UK population.
Last month it was revealed that 3,096 Muslim inmates, nearly one in five, were white, compared to just 7.8 per cent of Muslims being white in the wider community.
Mr Hall’s report called Terrorism in Prisons described the ‘impact of Islamic groups’ as being ‘under appreciated for too long by the authorities’….
He added: ‘Copies of the Quran were left on the beds of new prisoners. Failure to identify as a Muslim meant that at best the new prisoner would be denied “protection” from the dominant Muslim gang on that wing, or at worst that new prisoner would be subjected to violence and intimidation from that same gang.’…
The Ministry of Justice has said that linking the number of Muslim gangs to the number of Muslim prisoners is ‘misleading and based on wholly anecdotal evidence’. A spokesperson added last month: ‘Forced religious conversions are not tolerated in prisons.’

Tommy Robinson has warned, along with others, of this for years, but always faces attacks instead of being heard. That they will kill a convert for leaving further increases the seriousness of this issue, given that many submit in fear, planning to leave islam once out of prison.

Not to mention British lawyers/judges had Tommy deliberately put in prisons with large Muslim populations, the authorities were trying to kill this innocent man and freedom-fighter.
They were forced to put him in solitary for his own good…and he nearly died there…if not for the food that his family/friends brought him.

Funny how refusal to renounce a supremacist ideology and stay clear of partners in crime is used against other paroles by the state, while a commitment to renounce islam and stay clear of adherents is not considered a necessary condition of parole for muslims. The religion clause would be cited but that argument ignores the fact that islam is also a political movement.

Yes, it’s unfair to the public, from among which, mozlums find their victims.
Many infidels on parole are not allowed around children; most are not allowed to have any weapons or alcohol, and some are not allowed to use computers, besides not associating with other parolees..
If mozlums on parole were restricted in those ways, it would prevent a lot of harm being done. Even to other mozlums.

Prisons, being filled with criminals, are a microcosm of society. That is especially true of the world today, when crimes have increased, criminals are not prosecuted, and the LE refuse to admit some of the causes of the crimes being committed. Especially when the *cause* is islam.
Gangs are a part of society, and also a part of the prison systems. The AB in America was formed to give some protection to White inmates due to the violence and pressure from the Bloods and Cripps.
The AB have even gone further than giving protection; they are in the business of drugs, prostitution, extortion, etc. on the outside. Their motto is “Blood in/Blood out. One must commit murder to join and die to get out.
mozlums in prison are the worst yet. They are psychopathic in their very nature (among the prison population at large, a fair number….not all…are psychopaths) and with the idea that they *own* the world and everyone in it, they are unrelenting in their demands. Just as the *un-convicted* mozlums are on the “outside.”
Perhaps infidels will have to form new, tougher, more ruthless gangs to combat the terrorism from the mozlum inmates.

Prison chaplain needs to help the non-muslims a way to fight back. That is what he there for. Help them to read the bible verse that pertains the islam verse.

So, the muslim criminals in prison actually are pious and devoted muslims. It must tell something to those who still have brains, which is Islam is a religion of evil. Unfortunately, not many people still have brains.
i always say that all muslims are idiots, no exception. If somebody has an objection and accuse me Islamophobia, bigot, racist or whatever, I always reply that muslims accept a sex maniac pedophile, robber and murderer as the most holy man, isn’t that idiot? Prisons are a great recruiting ground for Islam. The Quran and teachings of islam should NOT be allowed in our prisons. If you are of the mind set to do harm and violence to others, islam is the perfect support group for you. We don’t need to be encouraging that behavior in our prison system or anywhere else.
