Hundreds of Manchester Arena terrorist attack survivors are suing MI5 for an alleged failure to take action that could have stopped the bombing.
The group of more than 250 victims and their loved ones have submitted their claim to the Investigatory Powers Tribunal (IPT), which considers complaints against the intelligence services.
The legal action revealed in The Sunday Times is the first of its kind to be taken against MI5 for an alleged failure to stop a domestic terror attack.
The newspaper reported that complainants are arguing that officers’ negligence breached the injured survivors’ “right to life” under the Human Rights Act….

You’re spot on. That recognizing the determination of those who embrace Islam, their determination to murder anyone they deem deserving, is CRITICAL. And killing them before they murder everyone –women, babies, children, young people, old people, is a necessity to survive.

Should sue all the countless traitors in government over the last few decades for inflicting these animals upon us. The military were involved with bringing this turd back in after his training abroad, so sue them as well.
Or here’s an idea, round up all the millions of illegals and scam artist to start with and get rid.

I hope there is a jury verdict of millions of British pounds because the only thing powerful enough to reverse or limit “correct thinking” is having to pay out large sums of money for doing so and allowing a massacre to happen. Law enforcement means using logical thinking to prevent crimes from taking place. Police are taught not to target some one who you think may be a terrorist. Let’s see the trade off. If you are wrong you owe the person a “sorry sir but we’re just taking to keep you and others safe”. But if you are right you will avoid a disaster of deaths and injuries that cannot be measured for the pain that causes. Is there any humane argument to allow the potential terrorist not to be searched in that comparison?

It did – one of the security staff at the Manchester Arena thought he looked sweaty and suspicious – and did nothing.
If even highly-trained, well-paid staff FBI agents can be trained to ignore jihadism – (Robert Spencer passim) – and go full steam ahead on non-existent “Right-wing extremists” / “J6 insurrectionists” / “Christian fundamentalists” etc etc, then how much more easily can low-paid “security staff” be influenced? If people are trained to believe that they will be scape-goated for doing their actual job – (Derek Chauvin, anybody?) – then they will always be compromised and indecisive about preventing terrorists or stopping shop-lifters.
