How is it Capital Karts’ fault? Did Capital Karts force this poor girl to have her hijab hanging out of her helmet? Or is this another instance of the fear of “Islamophobia” overriding any considerations of justice and responsibility?

Ruwaida Adan, 15, choked to death after her headscarf became caught minutes into a race with her friends at Capital Karts in Barking, East London, on August 6, 2021.
The end of her scarf was said to be hanging out of her helmet and suit before it wound itself round axle of the go-kart and strangled her….
Capital Karts Trading, a company owned by Capital Karts, has now been ordered to pay a £90,000 fine following the tragic incident, as well as costs of £29,021.18 and a victim surcharge of £190.

My fellow non-Muslim friends, not a thing will change until we all organize, march (as the rotten pro-Palestinians are doing) and demand politicians ban Islam and deport Muslims.

In the past, there were signs that said, “No shirt, no shoes, no service.” And no one …of which I am aware….filed suit to enter without these two required things. Everyone wore shirts and shoes.
Any company such as these go-cart people own….(didn’t a mozlum woman die some years ago, after her long scarf got tangled up in a wheel when she refused to listen to the operator of the ride?)…should put up signs, “No scarves allowed” and “Ride at your own risk”
and then if drawn into a court case, fight hard to win against these mozlum troublemakers.
mozlums don’t care about their children, but they are all ready to profit off the stupidity of their young ones.

This seems a horrible accident and the Mail’s report is comprehensive. There seems to have been safety issues with the provider. My sympathies to the family.

Why would teens that old need to be “told to read them”?
this is putting all responsibility on the ride operators.
The Daily Mail has more information about the safety measures said not to be as they should have been, but the girl and her friends could have read….and ignored….the signs. They bore responsibility for their actions, which is true of all people engaging in activities such as this.
Common sense is also lacking when mozlums are wearing their long, very long, scarves and then attempt such as this girl did.
And the comments about being called out as ‘phobic’ are according to what has happened time and again when girls and women are told to remove the scarf.

Thx both for your replies. I dont comment often. I think JW is an excellent resource – polemical, of course, – and I admire it’s courage. This “Go-Kart” piece (IMO!) does not assist JW’s work, and could be used by its enemies. It stands our against the other pieces in the daily email summary.

Capital Karts should claim that they honor-killed her for blasphemous behavior in kart-racing, which is nowhere explicitly permitted in islam, particularly for girls. In that case, the order against them to pay £120,000 could be deemed islamophobic itself, and dismissed in court ?

What a load of bullshit this decision is. I’d say that good Muslim gals, who have to wear the hijab to cover up their oh, so sexually arousing hair (yeah, right) or men everywhere will not be able to control themselves, should stay away from activities like go-karting and probably many other activities that might be dangerous to idiots who wear hijabs. But, of course, a bit of responsible behaviour is, of course, too much to expect from knuckle dragging Muslims. I guess primitive Muslim life doesn’t work well with many activities in modern societies.

This is nuts. And if they had refused her entry or else suggest she remover her Hijab, they would have been accused of “Islamophobia”.
I remember riding bumper cars when I was about nine–a similar rude to go-karts. I had waist-leangth hair, and the ride operator gave me a scrunchie and showed me how to put my hair up so I’d be be safe. I was happy to do so.
