The daughter is the victim here, but it is hard not to have sympathy for Sittarh Mazhar Khan, who was likely treating her daughter the way she herself was treated when she was a teenager. The abuse of women is hard-wired into Islamic texts, and so has gone on unchallenged for generations.
The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should beat those from whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.” — Qur’an 4:34
Muhammad’s child bride, Aisha, says in a hadith that Muhammad “struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: ‘Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you?’” — Sahih Muslim 2127
Another hadith states: “Rifa`a divorced his wife whereupon `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. `Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah’s Messenger came, Aisha said, ‘I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!’” — Sahih Bukhari 7.77.5825
“Kingwood mom accused of choking teen daughter for not wearing hijab in social media post, pleads guilty,” Click2Houston, April 16, 2024 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
KINGWOOD, TX – A Kingwood mother accused of beating and choking her daughter when the teen did not wear her hijab in a social media post, has three years of community service ahead of her.
Sittarh Khan is accused of beating, choking, and burning her 14-year-old daughter in October of last year. She was upset with her for not wearing her hijab and overcooking pita bread, according to Harris County prosecutors….
“The defendant, upset the complainant did not wear her hijab at school, beat and choked the complainant, causing her to lose consciousness,” the hearing officer said during Khan’s probable cause hearing shortly after her arrest….
The injury to a child charge stems from an incident over pita bread. Khan allegedly got upset about the bread being overcooked and “forced the complainant’s arm onto a hot oven rack, causing her to have three burn marks,” the hearing officer said.
Khan’s plea agreement includes deferred adjudication for three years. During that time, she has to complete 100 hours of community service, donate $100 to the Houston Food Bank, cannot use drugs or alcohol and must attend a 4-hour anger management class.
somehistory says
Good grief. Community service….big deal. 100 hours over 3 years….and No drugs or alcohol….probably no problem for this ugly snake. And donating a measly 100 dollars to a food bank. How does any of that help her daughter?
Her daughter was burned, choked to unconsciousness and beaten. She should have a chance to move to a different household where she will have some freedom of choice as to what she wears and taught how to cook in a nice, friendly, caring way.
since the snake treated her so badly for no scarf and some bread, how will she treat the girl when she gets a western boyfriend or wants a part time job?
Sorry.?..not….for her. If this snake was treated that way, she should have had some empathy for her daughter. Her countenance is pure evil….like her insides.
PRCS says
Her physical appearance is irrelevant to the issue.
What kind of Christian.are you, exactly?
Derek Bayliss says
Why should he be a Xion christian I am not
PRCS says
The reference was to a supposed Christian who took a gratuitous slap at another’s physical appearance.
John Smith says
Once again PRCS is having a go at Somehistor for the simple reason she’s a Christian. It seems to me that PRCS has a big problem with Christians. Who in their right mind would ask someone, “what kind of Christian are you exactly.” Well I will answer that question for you Somehistory, only a half wit idiot would ask such a question.
somehistory says
Thank you very much, John. I appreciate your support. And your “answer.”
It seems that he, as an atheist, believes I need to conform to his idea of what a Christian should be, while at the same time, calling such belief nonsense, fairy tale, made up, not much different from the belief of mozlums, etc.. Those kinds of comments from him, show he doesn’t understand Christianity at all.
Somehow, in his mind, I have to conform to his atheist standards of morality or I have to answer to him for not conforming. to his kind of Christianity..
I decline to choose his standards over The Supreme Being, the Creator’s Standards, and Christ’s commands..
PRCS says
No, John, it’s because she’s a hypocrite. Her shameful remarks about other people’s physical appearance is a blatant violation of one of Christianity’s fundamental teachings: the Golden Rule. That a half-wit like you defends her unChristian behavior does not surprise.
somehistory says
Jesus set the standard for who is a hypocrite. Since you, an atheist deny Jesus Christ, you have no room to speak about hypocrisy.
You don’t understand one iota about applying the Golden Rule. You are like other atheists who try to beat Christians over the head with the Bible because you believe it will have the effect of making Christians change their behavior and words to suit you….you the very people who have no respect for God in your denial…calling Him names to mock His very existence…and denying that Jesus is His Son and that He will return to punish the evil and restore Paradise.
You mock every time someone mentions praying for those who are persecuted, and then have the temerity, the gall, the effrontery to tell me how to apply the Golden Rule.
Your words to John are despicable and worthless.
And you will understand none of what I have written. because your head is too full of yourself.
John Smith says
“Her shameful remarks,” what the hell are you blabbering on about PRCS. It seems to me your only mission here is to pick a fight.
Which makes me wonder, what kind of atheist are you exactly?
PRCS says
“The Golden Rule is the ethical principle of treating other people as one’s self would prefer to be treated. One of Jesus’ most famous and impactful teachings, the Golden Rule can be found in the Bible verses Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31:”

As a Christian, YOU are expected to follow the Golden Rule.
PRCS says
John, try to improve your reading and critical thinking skills.
somehistory says
Blah, blah. You look up online someone’s definition and not believing in Christianity, make the arrogant assumption that you know how the Rule should be applied by someone who does Acknowledge the Supreme Authority of The Creator.
Hypocrite. That word applies to you. And I’ll decide, as is my Right, on my Understanding of Christ’s commands….which you do not even respect as commands.
I take my orders from Jesus Christ; not from ****you***** no matter how often or how loud you demand that I follow your orders and dictates.
You, the arrogant atheist, believe you can dictate what it means to be Christian. I laugh in your face.
PRCS says
Your post, so typically, is a cornucopia of hysterical blah, blah, blah.
John Smith says
I’ve given up with him Somehistory it’s like arguing with a five year old that has to get the last word in. All he wants to do is row with someone. According to him you’re not a Christian if you call someone that’s ugly, ugly..Have you ever heard anything so childish and ridiculous. I agree with you Somehistory she’s an extremely ugly person both inside and outside, but in PRCS eyes that makes us awful people for saying this. So if PRCS believes she’s beautiful looking I suggest he gets his eyes tested, because she isn’t, and I’m not going to lie just to keep him happy. She’s as ugly as ugly can be in every way possible.
somehistory says
I agree with you, John. He’s one of those who, in his mind, is never wrong.
There are a lot of Scriptures where the physical person, how they look, are written as showing what is on the inside, and that evil shows through.
From Genesis where Cain is admonished about his attitude, after important mention is made of his “countenance.” And then he murdered Abel, his brother.
There are many other examples, but the atheist will accept none of those.
I’ve met his kind before….they want to use what we believe against us, as if they get to deny God, and still sit in judgment of those who believe in God and His Son.
Rather like mozlums who move to where there are some freedoms, and then use those to get what they want, whining and complaining, even though they don’t believe having freedoms are our right.
There is no point in arguing with him as it just feeds his ego.
And I agree that we should not *lie* to just please him. The woman is ugly, as are all who have a heart full of evil, whatever they may look like otherwise.
I don’t think he believes she’s pretty or beautiful or even mildly attractive. I believe he just likes to pick fights.
I hope things are going well with you and family.
PRCS says
The issue, sh, was YOUR decision–as a Christian–to ignore the Golden Rule. You are intentionally attempting to obfuscate your moral bankruptcy. I don’t hold John responsible to the same degree, however, as it seems he’s just not bright enough to understand.
To remind:
“The Golden Rule is the ethical principle of treating other people as one’s self would prefer to be treated. One of Jesus’ most famous and impactful teachings, the Golden Rule can be found in the Bible verses Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31:”
Istanbul_Chick says
Jesus! That is a face that could split logs! islam murders the human soul and it shows on their visages.
PRCS says
Really?
Her physical appearance?
The issue is the ugliness in her mind.
James Lincoln says
PRCS,
The “ugliness in her mind” is reflected in her current countenance – which is potentially mutable – however unlikely.
PRCS says
A malady which the so-called punishment is unlikely to mute for long.
Istanbul_Chick says
What part of “islam murders the soul which shows on their visages” did you not understand.
PRCS says
And this part? “That is a face that could split logs!”
Goofy says
What gives hope is that her daughter brought up this case with the (disbelieving) authorities, knowing full well that her parents and grandparents have the right to terminate her life early should she show signs of disobedience!
This is the ultimate form of loss of face! Let us pray for the young girl who is now in mortal danger.
John Smith says
Istanbul Chick ,
You used the word Jesus, for some reason PRCS will attack you for this. I don’t know what his or her problem is but I’m aware that he or she is an atheist and is against anyone that doesn’t PRCS views.
John Smith says
Meant to say, “that doesn’t share PRCS views.”
PRCS says
Wrong again, John. As usual.
somehistory says
John is not wrong. You, prcs, are the one who is wrong.
You have admitted to being atheist. And at the same time, you want to try to hold others to values you mock.
You mock Christianity every chance you get….you have said it’s fairy tale, made up by man, and even said it is the same as islam in some ways.
But, the hypocrite you are just stands out when you try to hold others to a *standard* you have personally set for how Christians are supposed to conduct themselves.
There is no value at all in what you say about Christianity as a whole….mocking and denying;….and concerning my own words, there is no value in your criticism.
I’ll say what I wish regardless of what you claim, as your words on the subject of Christianity are worth absolutely nothing….like the words of mozlums.
You have no idea whatsoever what God and His Son approve or disapprove and your opinion is less than zero importance on the subject.
PRCS says
Admitting to being an atheist is a criminal act in Afghanistan, but not here. Given your über Christian persona, your disregard of the Golden Rule, a Christian standard, makes you a hypocrite and a fraud.
P.S. John is wrong.
somehistory says
Haha. Your opinion is as valuable to me as the one of the mullahs in iran or the c.a.i.r members in MI.
they come from the same source.
And repeating an error, still reveals it as an error.
John knows of what he speaks,
as opposed to an atheist who has openly mocked the Belief in a Supreme Creator and His Son…denying He is your Creator…. speaking on what it means to be Christian.
You are very much like biden, claiming knowledge of islam, telling Ms. Ayaan Hirsi Ali she doesn’t know islam.
You know Christianity less than biden knows islam.
PRCS says
You’re not following the Golden Rule. That makes you a hypocrite and a fraud.
That woman’s physical appearance has nothing to do with the subject.
Despite Jesus’ standard, you couldn’t resist.
PRCS says
You’re not following the Golden Rule. That makes you a hypocrite and a fraud.

somehistory says
In your opinion. So why don’t you complain to your god about me? See if he/she’ll do something to make you happy?
Your opinion is just as worthless as the nearest mozlum.
PRCS says
You should explain to YOUR god why you’ve chosen to ignore her/him/it.
CalvinsLutheran says
You can see that the mother was a pretty woman before the demonization that Islam causes befell her. Islam KILLS femininity over time. ALWAYS. Becoming one flesh with a demonized man will bring about a deposition of HIS demonic nature, his bio magnetic signature, his mindset, and his extraterrestrial dispensation. Her dour face is a reflection of the husband’s disposition. It is a demonic power a demonic deception and an evil cult that has all of the marks of unbridled evil. The lame anti-Christian, woke West is so full of darkness they don’t see the quasi-Dhimmitude we are awash in RIGHT NOW. Our lawmakers are SUBJUGATED to Islam right now because the general population is. A keffiyah hat and scarf would fit most legislators in today’s West. Islamists and Islamic populations have significantly more subtlety and demonic cunning than Westerners do because Westerners have abandoned literary skills for purely hedonistic pursuits. The sack of Rome all over again. Most people of the Woke population cannot spell DHIMMITUDE. But surely are approaching it WITH THEIR OWN EFFORTS. The bumbler in chief is begging for a vote that will dictate to him WHEN HE CAN, EAT, SLEEP, OR BREATHE.
tim gallagher says
Ah, Loving family relationships Muslim style. Of course, i suppose that, in Muslim family style, the mother has quite often had the shit kicked out of her by her husband and so, having been brutalised and turned into a hate-filled creature, hating her miserable Muslim female life and life in general, is passing on those Muslim family values to her daughter. Muslim hatred and misery keeps rolling on whether in their own horrendous families or towards the hated non-Muslims. What a curse on humanity islam is and always has been.
somehistory says
Tim, I have heard people say that they didn’t want to be like their mother, father or either parent.
They point out how strict, or even how permissive or never giving affection, etc., so they try really hard to treat their own children in a different way.
With mozlums, it seems they can’t learn from the abuse they experience from their own parents, but treat their children as bad or worse than they were treated.
It’s a terrible thing what islam does to the human mind, heart and conscience.
Will this child, living in a ‘free country’ turn out differently than her mother has? Can she understand how very wrong her mother was treating her?
tim gallagher says
That’s true, somehistory, many people might try to treat their children in a different and better way than they were treated themselves. However, I’m sure that many Muslim women would, having been treated appallingly by fathers and husbands, would also become vicious and treat their kids, especially daughters, terribly. Yesterday, I met a very friendly, pleasant young Muslim teenage girl who was working in a shop. I’d met her there before and she is always very pleasant. To me, this is almost like a miracle when you consider the hatred that islam tends to teach. From time to time, this happens. I guess that she is not a strict Muslims, but it is always good to come across pleasant people. I’m a very realistic person and knowing islam’s content, I would never totally trust a Muslim, but this was a very pleasant, friendly person. I agree with you though in believing that islam does deform endless human minds who had the potential to be decent human beings but had their minds poisoned by islam.
somehistory says
Tim, when we meet mozlums who seem to have fought hard against the evil, we can hope they fully escape it.
It’s good that this young woman has learned to be pleasant despite her religion which teaches the opposite.
tim gallagher says
Yes, somehistory, this particular young Muslim does seem to have a good attitude towards all the people she deals with. Maybe somehow she has missed out on being taught the hatred that a lot of Muslims learn and which seems to me to be basic islam, as in those calls in the rotten Koran to try to kill non-believers,etc. From time to time I come across Muslims like this and, as i said, it almost seems like a miracle to me. Yeah, I wish all Muslims would leave islam and its malignant influence on their minds. Of course, i don’t know any Muslims in depth and I don’t ever trust that they won’t become devout and hate-filled and nasty. I don’t really want to get to know them that well. The good, devout Muslims seem to be pretty horrible people with a very bad attitude towards all non-Muslims.
Mary Lou says
Assimilation can never be applied here, they will never follow our laws or show respect for the USA. Maybe that old law by President Roosevelt has some merit…but when it comes to

James Lincoln says
somehistory,
Depending upon the adult child, it can go either way:
1. A “reaction against” the way that they were treated.
2. “Modeling” the behavior in the way that they were treated.
Difficult to predict.
somehistory says
James, this is a little personal, but my parents didn’t show affection or say ‘I love you,’; they didn’t get it from their parents. I told my mom every night that I loved her, but didn’t hear those words from her.
So, I made it my goal to tell my kids every day, “I love you,” and give hugs.
A lot depends on the heart of the one deciding which way to go. And I’ve heard people say that their parents didn’t do anything ‘wrong’ so they copied the way their parents did.
Understanding why our parents did or did not do something goes a long way in deciding whether or not to copy what they did.
When my mom became old, and all of us were adults, she began to say, “I love you,” and she told me her greatest wish was that she wanted all her children to know, “Just how much I love them.” One of the first times she said that to me, one of her sons had already died.
Life is hard and some things are sad. But people can learn if they really want to.
PRCS says
My money’s on “Modeling” the behavior.
James Lincoln says
somehistory says,
“Understanding why our parents did or did not do something goes a long way in deciding whether or not to copy what they did.”
Not an absolute guarantee, but point taken.
I think that this fits in:
Stephen Covey: Habit 5 — “Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood”
James Lincoln says
PRCS,
Yes, if I were a betting man, I would pick “modeling” for this muslima.
somehistory says
James, one has to be a thinker to even begin to want to understand ‘why’ a parent does something or doesn’t do.
Many, evidently don’t think about it; they just copy it.
For an example, one can look at the Kings of Israel in the Bible. A good king might raise up a rotten, evil son or daughter. An evil king might have a good son.
Or consider Jacob’s twelve sons and how each turned out.
I believe those who had poor or bad parents and came out so much differently, had to be “thinkers” and considered a better way.
Little children do usually copy the behavior of their parents. But, as they grow older, the “thinkers” can see if mistakes are being made, whether they are ‘happy’ or not, and decide to do things in a different way if they see mistakes.
This woman obviously is not a ‘thinker,’ and just blindly followed, wanted to hurt her daughter, perhaps enjoyed the misery she created, or something else drove her to do such as she did.
Her eyes are evil, revealing her inside condition. My guess is she likes causing pain. She may have received it and lusted to pass it on.
James Lincoln says
somehistory,
Thanks for your reply and valuable added information.
S says
The first paragraph is wrong. It is not “not hard” to have sympathy for the mother. What is the author smoking?
James Lincoln says
S,
I think that Mr. Spencer was referring to modeling of behavior / cycles of violence.
Many very bad behaviors can be understood – while not in any way being condoned / excused away.

Your first paragraph is absolutely correct Robert but omitted FGM. Muslim mothers inflict or cause to be inflicted FGM on their daughters because they suffered it. Of course that tells you much about mothers in Islam. (of course not all Muslim parents are the same) It also shows the ‘thinking’ and mores of 7th century Arabs; as does the bible to some extent of the Jews althogh the Jews developed as a people whilst the Muslims remain stuck in the 7th centrury. Of course Moham. did not invent all those customs he just set the in stone for all future Muslims.

Now, I’m done on this thread wasting my time on an arrogant, no-nothing, atheist.

You lost the argument.
So take your football and go home, hypocrite.

prcs….Palestinian Red Crescent Society
You know nothing about the Golden Rule and how it applies.
That mozlum child abuser can say anything she wants about me and my looks.
The Rule Jesus gave….Someone Whom you don’t even recognize, but are abusing, denying, and attempting to use His Words as mozlums use Freedom of Religion and Speech…. is “Do unto others.”
I have done nothing to this mozlum, ugly creep that she is. And you would be well-aware of that if you knew anything about anything.
What’s the matter “palestinian red crescent society” “clown”? Do you have evil eyes? Afraid I’d think you are ugly?
Remember, you call Jesus and His Father, a fairy tale. Guess that’s what you want them to call you.
PRCS says
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is a proverb that expresses the principle of treating other people the way you would like to be treated yourself. It is also known as the Golden Rule and is a biblical concept spoken by Jesus in Luke 6:31 and Matthew 7:1223. It means to think of, give to, respond to, associate with, and listen to others as you would want them to do to you.
“I have done nothing to this mozlum, ugly creep that she is”
Of course, she doesn’t know you’ve laid your moral failure bare by insulting her physical appearance.
But you do.
