New PAC Wants Muslim Immigrants to Run for President

Should Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks run for president or be deported? A sane country would have deported the obnoxious Turkish influencer who instead decided to run for president on a platform of attacking Israel during the Hamas war and insisting that despite the Constitution, he should be allowed to be president.

Arkansas election officials on Monday said online news personality Cenk Uygur, who was born in Turkey, can’t appear on the state’s Democratic presidential primary ballot next year.

“My office has received your candidate filing paperwork,” Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston said in a letter to Uygur. “However, based on your own proclamation, your are not qualified to hold the elected office for which you filed. Therefore, I cannot, in good faith, certify your name to the ballot.”

The Constitution sets simple requirements for president: A candidate must be at least 35 years old and “a natural born citizen.”

Several other states, including the early primary states of New Hampshire and Nevada, also have rejected his application to appear on their ballots.

Uygur said officials were treating naturalized citizens as “second-class.” He has argued that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution makes him eligible to run for president.

“This is the last form of acceptable bigotry in American society and I’m going to fight it with every fiber of my being,” Uygur said in a statement. “I’m not going to accept that I don’t belong in my own country.”

Uygur’s only presidential angle, apart from being constitutionally ineligible and widely hated, is trying to get on the Left of Cornel West on terrorism and Israel. But since his presidential campaign isn’t going anywhere, what about a PAC?

A newly formed progressive hybrid Political Action Committee (PAC) is looking to support Muslim candidates and naturalized citizens who want to run for federal office.

The group, dubbed “Cavalry PAC,” was filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) last Monday.

The group is headed by former Democratic Congressional candidate Kara Eastman and progressive media personality Cenk Uygur. It is set to launch on Tuesday, Eastman told The Hill.

The new PAC will continue the constitutional dogfight.

“We’re also going to continue the litigation that we started because the idea behind his [Uygur’s] campaign was fighting full equality for naturalized citizens, which we still believe the 14th Amendment grants,” Eastman said.

“We did not have the resources to be able to do that through the campaign, or the time really – that’s one of the main goals for this,” she continued. “So we want to pay off the legal bills, but then, just as importantly, if not, more importantly, move it forward with the potential of even suing in other states.”

If Obama can do it, why not Uygur? Sure even Bernie Sanders withdrew his endorsement of Uygur (and think how horrible you have to be for Bernie to risk offending his base by pulling an endorsement from one of his pet leftists), but there’s always tomorrow. And if the country keeps going the way that it is, the impossibilities of today become the nightmares of another day.

Unless America wakes up.

  2. The worse thing for the U.S would be to have a turkish born muslim president. If you want him say good by to the democratic government and hello to a muslim government and all that entails. This is islam’s aim in the world. They want to turn the world into a muslim state.

    • bo is not, was not, and can’t be a “natural born citizen.” He was born in Africa. He was helped to break the law in order to put his dirty feet on the Oval Office desk. And just look at the trouble, the evil, he brought with him to unload on Americans.
      bo made the claim that he is Christian, which he is not, never was, likely never to be (strange things do happen), and made a lot of trouble, a whole boatload of trouble, for Christians.
      The scummy mayorkas, and other *foreign born* snakes have made a heck of a lot of trouble for the current world.
      Add these to the “natural born” who are evil…biden, pelosi, schumer, etc. and the country is in deep.

    • US born criteria was not met for Obama. Please look it up. Due to age of mother, father foreign born, mom leaving country to move abroad, etc. Complicated, yet there it is. Obama was our first non-qualified to serve as President, Muslim.

    A message to the hideous:
    I think you belong in *your* own country. Start one on the planet Mercury. It can be all yours. The mozlums of NASA just might be willing, but likely unable, to assist you.
    So if not Mercury, toodle your own way back to the country from whence you came. America does not belong to you. And since you don’t wish to abide by the Laws of the land, you don’t belong here.

    It’s all about gaining control of enough political offices to take complete control and ruining the country for islam’s scummy false god and feculent fake prophet.

  7. Look in the constitution as there are special rules for president and thus v.p.
    One can be president if even born overseas to American mom and pop.yet, if born in America, cannot be president if mom or pop or both not Americans. Look it up. Both Obama and Kamala are not eligible !!!!!
    America already had an illegal hybrid of a Moslem/satanist president that continues thru OBiden. Can’t survive any more muzzies.

    • You need to look up the laws. I was naturalized, born of both American citizens. I was born on a RAF base thus was born an English citizen. If I had been born on a USAF base in an another country I would have been a US citizen. USAF bases in other countries are considered sovereign US soil. I have an English birth certificate and naturalization papers to prove it. If you are born here then you are an American citizen. Doesn’t matter about what your parents are or were. I can’t run for president neither.

      • If one is “born here” but their parents were not born here, then the one born here, is still not eligible to be executive office material. His kid may be if born here….barring any other negative to eligibility.

  9. Obama might have been ineligible but I can’t say for sure. His mother was born in the US and it’s claimed he was born in the US, so that’s that. The 14th Amendment refers to both born and naturalized citizens, which recognizes the difference between them.. POTUS (and thanks to the 12th Amendment, VP) is the only office not open to naturalized citizens. We cannot surrender this qualification. What should also be required is that dual citizens, even if they are natural born American citizens, should also be barred from running for POTUS.

    • The dems are the ones who said bo was born in HI. At first h. clinton, who wants to be president in the worst way and thought she was a shoe-in…with a lock on it, was the person who said the birth cert for bo was fake.
      However, the dems didn’t want h. clinton, they wanted the marxist mozlum…”the young senator from Kenya,” to be president.
      So the facts that clinton was using about the birth certificate being fake, were hushed up, said to be ‘conspiracy,’ etc.

      bo’s mother, ‘stanley’ may have been born in the U.S., but she lived in other countries for a long time. There is a part of the legal requirements about the parents must reside in the U.S. for a certain number of years, that one cannot live outside U.S. territory for a certain time. I believe it is 14 years, but I could be wrong on that.
      How long did ‘stanley’ live outside U.S. territory?

      bo was ineligible. he went to school as a foreign student, and refused to show a real, legitimate birth cert; and the woman in HI who knew about such things, mysteriously died.

      It was a big hoax and a big fraud, a scam on American citizens. And he became a millionaire as a result while ruining everything he could.

  11. We mocked the idea of even an Arnold Schwarzenegger as POTUS, so Cenk Uygur should be even more obvious

    The thing I’m afraid of is the Dems in Congress putting together a bill allowing foreign born citizens to become POTUS, and there being enough RINOs to go along w/ it, b’cos immigrants! That’ll toss away this restriction, & enable US to have POTUS’ like Uygur, Omar, Tlaib, Sarsour, Abedin, et al
