Myanmar: Rohingya jihad groups take over 1600 Hindus and 120 Buddhists hostage, world media indifferent

Over 1,600 Hindus and 120 Buddhists have been taken hostage by an armed group of Rohingya Muslims in Buthidaung, Arakan Province, Myanmar. Rohingya groups are looting the houses of the captives and burning them down. It remains uncertain whether these hostages will be killed or released. The turmoil erupted in November 2023, and ethnic riots since then have forced villagers to run for their lives. Two youths were found murdered on April 11; their throats were slit in signature Islamic style.

The New Indian Express quotes a source: “With unrest and instability expanding to Buthidaung, the volatility has taken a new turn, with Islamic terror groups working at the behest of the military to kill and terrorize ethnic groups based on religion. There are over 1600 Hindus and over 120 Buddhists who have been held hostage by them there at present.”

This incident recalls the August 2017 Rohingya jihadi massacre of Hindus. A group of Rohingyas brandishing guns and swords slaughtered nearly a hundred Hindu women, men, and children, and carried out additional killings and abductions of Hindu villagers. Even local Rohingya villagers supported the Islamic jihadis and rounded up dozens of Hindu women, men, and children. They robbed their victims, blindfolded them, and marched them to the outskirts of the village, where the men were killed execution-style; only those women and children who agreed to convert to Islam were spared. The survivors had to flee with the fighters and eventually entered Bangladesh. But Bangladesh authorities refused shelter and aid to them, and repatriated them to Myanmar in October 2017. Despite being an Islamic country with jihad sentiments spreading among the younger generation, Bangladesh recognized the Rohingyas as a danger to their society, and got rid of them. India, on the other hand, failed to act upon the menace promptly, and is now infested with an unknown number of Rohingya infiltrators.

While the official estimate is that there are only 40,000 of these “refugees,” with around 20,000 of them registered with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), these figures couldn’t be farther from reality. Rohingya infiltrators number in the millions, and are found living in slums across the country, mainly in Jammu, Haryana, Assam, and West Bengal, as well as cities such as Delhi and Bengaluru. They take up odd jobs daily and are caught in criminal activities afterward.

Rohingyas have reportedly been involved in kidnapping, rapes, murders, forgery of government IDs, and riots. Often, jihad leaders in India incite Rohingyas to carry out mob violence. Some Muslim-controlled organizations raised funds for settling Rohingya “refugees” at Nuh in Mewat, a region notoriously referred to as “Mini Pakistan,” where there have been many instances of abduction, rape, and forced conversion of Hindus. The Rohingya infiltrators, whom the pro-Islamic cabal in India portrays as helpless refugees, are known to have attacked Hindus and government officials on various occasions. While addressing the media in August 2023, Nuh Superintendent of Police Narender Bijarniya revealed how Rohingya refugees had illegally occupied government land in Haryana. They gathered into huge mobs and resorted to throwing stones at the authorities who reached the spot to carry out a demolition operation.

Again, last year the Uttar Pradesh police arrested a man identified as Shil Kumar from a village in Shravasti, on charges of raping and murdering an 11-year-old Hindu girl. Further investigations revealed that the accused was a Rohingya Muslim named Muzaffar Ali, son of Farooq Ali, who had been living in the village with a forged identity. Rohingya Muslims with counterfeit IDs is a rising problem in the country which the lawmakers have been overlooking for a considerable period.

It’s not known if India strictly maintains an official record of Rohingya births; UNICEF Representative in Bangladesh noted that over 60 babies were born every day in the Rohingya refugee settlement. Rohingya infiltrators have access to every Indian city and have massively burdened the country’s economy. While the leftist ecosystem drums up sympathy for these infiltrators and demands permanent refuge for them, regular news headlines highlighting the Rohingyas’ criminal activities warn Indians of how dangerous this demography will prove to be in the future.

For the past seven months, the world has kept a close watch on the Gaza war, and social media has been churning out fabricated stories of Islamic victimhood in Gaza. While the Muslim-pandering corporate media tells you how hungry Muslim children are and how Muslim pregnant women are bereft of healthcare facilities, what they are tactfully keeping from you are unnerving instances of Islamic barbarity that affect non-Muslim people by the thousands. The group analogous to Hamas in India and Myanmar is the Rohingya jihad terror group, which has carried out its reign of terror in Myanmar and the adjoining regions for the past decade.
