The death of Hamas financier Mohammad Srour in Beirut last week will, I am sure, not leave a wet eye in the house of any Jihad Watch reader. More on his timely death can be found here: “A Lebanese man sanctioned by the US over alleged Hamas links is found shot dead near Beirut,” by Kareem Chehayeb, Associated Press, April 10, 2024:
A Lebanese man sanctioned by the U.S. for his alleged links with the Palestinian group Hamas was found dead Wednesday after he went missing for a week, Lebanese state media and judicial officials said.
Amazing, isn’t it, how dangerous it is to be a high muckamuck in Hamas and Hezbollah. Think of Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, who almost never makes public appearances, and is said to be so afraid of being done in by Mossad that he changes his dwelling every other day. He famously said that “even I don’t know where I will be sleeping tonight.” His second-in-command was Imad Mughniyeh, whose timely death in Damascus in 2008 was the result of car trouble — a bomb had been hidden in one of its tires. Imad Mughniyeh was predeceased by his brother Fuad, who died in Beirut in 1994 from the same car problem, though the exact placement of the bomb in question was not made public. Mughniyeh’s younger son, Jihad, was killed in an airstrike on a two-car convoy in the Syrian Golan sector on January 18, 2015. Five other Hezbollah members and an Iranian Quds Force general were also killed in the attack. The remaining members of the Al-Mughniyeh family might want to seek another line of work.
Just last month, an Israeli drone strike hit a car near the southern port city of Tyre, in Lebanon, and killed a Hezbollah member, Ali Naim, the deputy head of Hezbollah’s rocket and missile program. Mossad agents, on the ground in Tyre, provided the car’s identification to Israel’s drone operators.
Of course, the list of Mossad’s assassinations of Hamas leaders is much longer than that for Hezbollah. The most spectacular was the killing of Mahmoud Al-Moubhouh in a Dubai hotel, in which more than a dozen Mossad agents, including at least four Irish nationals, two Englishmen, and one German — none of them Jewish — took part. The video of the preparations for the murder, showing both the surveillance squads and the executioners, as well as Al-Moubhouh, can be seen here.
Now let’s again take up the story of Mohammad Srour, the most recent example of Mossad’s deeds of derring-do:
Mohammad Srour, 57, was sanctioned by the U.S. in August 2019 for giving “financial, material, technological support, financial or other services” to Hamas and for his affiliation with Hezbollah. He was accused of transferring tens of millions of dollars annually from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades, which is currently at war with Israel’s military in Gaza.
Lebanese judicial officials say Srour worked for Hezbollah’s financial arm.
As Elder of Ziyon notes, Lebanese authorities now blame Mossad: “Officials say Mossad killed Hamas financier Mohammad Srour,” Naharnet, April 16, 2024:
A Lebanese minister and two senior officials said preliminary findings suggest Israel’s Mossad spy agency was behind the killing of a U.S.-sanctioned Lebanese man accused of sending Iranian money to Hamas.
The body of Mohammad Srour, 57, was found riddled with bullets in a villa in the Lebanese mountain town of Beit Mery last Tuesday.
Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi told Al-Jadeed TV late Sunday that, “according to the data we have so far, (the killing) was carried out by intelligence services”.
Asked whether he was referring to Mossad, Mawlawi confirmed.
Elder of Ziyon adds that “Al Mayadeen, a Hezbollah mouthpiece, says that a woman lured Srour to her villa to give her funds from a money transfer, from which he was abducted, allegedly tortured and then shot several times.”
Mossad has many killings of terrorist murderers to its credit, but it does not use torture. Al Mayadeen, of course, wants to put the Mossad agents who killed Srour in the worst possible light, hence the egregious and “alleged” charge that he had been “tortured.”
The killing of money-man Mohamed Srour by Mossad — only the latest in a long line of such achievements — is sure to give other Hezbollah and Hamas financiers second thoughts. Like the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, sooner or later the Mossad always gets its man.

Instead of “blame,” it should be to “credit.” Each must reap what each one has sown.
This ugly mozlum sowed death and destruction. It caught up with him.

Mentioning the Royal Canadian Mounted Police upholding justice is a thing of the past. Trudeau has rendered the Mounted Police to nothing more than a political arm of the communist government to quell any talk of freedom and obliterating any statements, much less actions, to rid the country of the depraved and degenerate inbred sub-human disease called Islam. One can physically harm a person of Jewish heritage with impunity but oh woe to the person who speaks the truth about the death cult that calls itself a religion.

Ray,
I still watch old reruns of “Sergeant Preston of the Yukon” (TV series), wishing that Canada still had those kinds of law enforcement officers.
Ray Jarman says
So do I James Lincoln. I would vote for Sgt. Preston’s dog over most politicians. At least King was loyal.
James Lincoln says
Agree!

I juts read the book “Harpoon” about how Israel figured out that they needed to eliminate the money men behind the Muslim Jihadists. Great stories.
