“Not preventable at the tactical level”
U.S. Central Command released its latest phase of the report on the Abbey Gate terrorist attack which killed 13 American service members during Biden’s botched evacuation from Afghanistan.
Predictably the report claims that the attack was not preventable even though there had been calls to close the gate, Marine snipers had identified the bomber who had been released by the Taliban after Biden’s decision to abandon Bagram Air Base and the terrorists who were there and asked for permission to take him out, but were denied.
Was Abbey Gate preventable? Obviously. At multiple levels. Beginning with Biden’s decision to abandon Bagram to the same punishing rules of engagement that prioritized Muslim civilians over American soldiers.
Faced with testimony from a survivor that he had eyes on the bomber, the report claims that he was wrong.
The report further insists that it didn’t matter that Biden abandoned Bagram because ISIS “had multiple bombers that were available… and this supports the conclusion that the attack at Abbey Gate was not preventable at the tactical level.”
Not preventable at the tactical level? There was just no way to keep a suicide bomber from killing 13 service members?
ISIS just has infinite bombers and nothing that could have been done, nothing at all, would have stopped an attack? Then maybe we should just surrender now.
Of course, there’s a massive caveat there in the report.
“The terrorist attack at Abbey Gate was not preventable at the tactical level without degrading the mission to maximize the number of evacuees.”
Now that might have been noble if the priority was to evacuate Americans. It was not. Americans were left behind. The priority was evacuating Afghans, and not even allies, but those allowed through by the Taliban.
American soldiers died so Afghan migrants could be illegally dumped in the United States to commit terrorist acts here.
Understandably that’s the sort of thing you would want to cover up.

It doesn’t matter to them how many dead bodies they step on in their reach for absolute power, as long as the bodies aren’t mozlum terrorists.

The USA should still have troops in Afghanistan. The low cost of keeping a handful of USA troops in Afghanistan was a bargain in preventing the Taliban’s takeover of the country and using it as a training ground for anti-American terrorism.
If you withdraw troops the doctrine taught at Infantry Officer Candidate school when I attended in 1967 was to NEVER reveal your deadline. What the USA should have done is covertly drew down its military presence until announcing that all its troops are gone.

The smart withdrawal is take out the weak and venerable first. The military is the last to leave. Biden’s withdrawal is the perfect example how to do it 100% wrong.
SAVING AZIZ is a book that explains how and why things were wrong. The retired special forces save over 17,000 American citizens, allies and citizens from other countries, translators and thousand of Afghan’s who helped US forces. All of these people were / are on the Taliban’s revenge list.

Daniel Greenfield wrote exactly what I was thinking while reading this most excellent article. “American soldiers died so Afghan migrants could be illegally dumped in the United States to commit terrorist acts here.” As Daniel states about Biden’s willful demise of Americans in Afghanistan in order to flood America with a load of terrorists is also extremely accurate. Every act of Biden and his puppeteers since day one has been to destroy our nation and many of his actions amount to treason and outright theft of our, the taxpayers, hard earned money. Maybe there is a lawyer who can explain why some state attorney’s general cannot bring a writ of mandamus against the administration forcing it to uphold the law and also not to abrogate the rulings of the Supreme Court such as not writing off the offsprings of the elite’s college tuition.

Others in state governments are following the same pattern. And citizens are getting fed up. In Chicago, the mayor is taking another 70 million from the budget to house, feed and job train the *illegals* and this is after having already spent 300 million on the same things.
I read that in CA the government is asking those with money to build houses for the *illegals.* they don’t call them illegals any longer.
As a teen found out in NC, using the term “illegal alien” can get one suspended.
In Denver, the mayor is saying that city has done all it can, but the illegals are demanding more be done for them. 90 million so far, and six months of free stuff before having to stand on their own feet.

Thanks for the reply Somehistory. I saw a woman on the Jesse Water’s program on FOX who stated that she and her husband are leaving California because of the L.A. mayor and Newsom soliciting wealthy residents help pay for the illegals’ to own homes free of charge.

Tragic beyond tragic – but true.
And none of the key US “decision-makers” have paid any price at all.
