The Ontario New Democrat Party renewed its push to end a keffiyeh ban at the Ontario Legislature in Queens Park, but failed. Now, a coalition of lawyers “has filed a formal request with the Speaker’s office to reverse the move.” This followed individuals being refused entry to the Ontario legislature for wearing the keffiyeh, a symbol of revolutionary Palestinian “resistance”.
Jihad Watch previously reported that Ontario Premier Doug Ford misguidedly opposed the keffiyeh ban, which was instituted by Speaker Ted Arnott on the grounds of a “long-standing policy about wearing political symbols in the House.” Ford had called for a reversal of the ban, but now has said that he would “not force his party members to vote a certain way,” and that “members of caucus are free to support or oppose the NDP motion.”
The Palestinian “resistance” lobby is calling the ban an offense to their “pride,” cultural expression and identity, and will undoubtedly continue to challenge the ban and present themselves as victims of discrimination.
An identity rooted in violence, intifada, “martyrdom” and the obliteration of the Jewish state from the River to the Sea does not belong in free, democratic societies.

On Monday, Kitchener resident Beisan Zubi drove to Toronto to listen to Question Period, but she wasn’t allowed in the building because she was wearing a keffiyeh.
The scarf, she said, belonged to her mother.
“It’s older than I am. This is something that’s been passed down to me. I’m very proud of it,” she told CTV News Toronto….

Let’s see, the white keffiyeh with the black design is copied by terrorist-leaning Muslims because it was Arafat’s signature headdress. The West’s Hamas supporters don’t seem to realize they are wearing a terrorist symbol.
When we see students wearing it on campus we suspect they are both ignorant and too lazy to wash their hair. One can only imagine the appearance of their rooms, which likely matches theIr maturity.
If they took the time to read the Quran they would realize they are also on Islam’s hit list along with those of different minority sexuality tendencies. In a sense they are acting like the students who overthrew the Shah in Iran, then found themselves locked into a more repressive government with few rights and constantly monitored.

If you look at the history of the kaffiyeh’s origin… it’s actually Iraqi. The Iraqi bedouin wear it because it’s their ethnic garb. The so called palestinians “as usual” stole it and claim it as their own just like they stole the Jordanian flag and removed the star and claim the flag as their own. They’ve never invented anything of their own except murder, rape, attacking innocent civilians.
