Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is spreading a hoax about a “mass grave” supposedly discovered at a Gaza hospital where Israeli soldiers had recently been fighting terrorists.
AOC cited a post on Twitter / X by Nick Kristof, a radical left-wing columnist for the New York Times, who has spread doubts about Hamas’s documented use of hospitals, but treats Hamas claims about Israeli atrocities as proven facts.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has noted for days that Hamas has tried to spread misinformation about the hospital.
In fact, it said, IDF soldiers examined a grave that had been used by Palestinians to bury dead people, hoping to find the remains of Israeli hostages who may have been killed, and then returned the bodies that the IDF had exhumed.
The Times of Israel reported earlier this week:
It said forces searching for Israeli hostages had examined bodies previously buried by Palestinians near Nasser Hospital and had returned the bodies to where they were buried after they were examined.
It has been documented that Palestinians buried their dead at the hospital grounds both before and while Israeli troops operated in the area.
The location of that burial site was geo-located by experts to the same location where Hamas officials claimed to have discovered the new mass grave.
The “mass grave” hoax bears a close resemblance to the classic “blood libel” spread against Jews in medieval Europe and the contemporary Middle East, which falsely accuses Jews of murdering children to bake matzot, the unleavened bread made solely of water and four that is eaten on Passover….

Several *news* sites have claimed that this “mass grave”…with nearly two hundred bodies was “discovered” and investigations by the un had begun….but also that Israel was to blame.
Why “investigate” if they **know** who they intend to blame for the dead?

The likes of AOC are infuriating. In Israel to Ultra Orthodox Jews it is disrespectful to even fly over a Jewish cemetery. The IDF would have been so careful and have worked with Ultra Orthodox Zaka to make sure the the human remains were properly cared for. According to inside news sources in Israel it is believed there might only be 40 of the hostages left. How this is known is not commented on. You can understand why the IDF is checking all of the graves they find looking for hostages.
Except for Social Media this Hamas thing is so much like the anti-war protests c.1970. The US Military were baby killers, genocide, North Vietnamese were the victims, etc, etc. I could not be seen in public in my US Navy uniform without being called baby killer, spit on, assaulted. We were ordered to not wear our uniforms off base. ROTC programs on campus were firebombed, Being in the National Guard at the time was to be a NAZI SS trooper. Soldiers suffering from PTSD coming home from combat were treated horribly. The statement “Thank you for your service” is a collective recognition from the Vietnam era that the soldiers that fought in that war were victimized on so many levels. The weirdest feeling I ever had was shaking the hand of Robert Mcnamara, who I consider the architect of the Vietnam war.
So from my point of view this anti-semitic, Hamas thing is nothing new. Just magnified by Social Media.

When I first saw the *news* about the “mass grave,” and where it was said to be ‘found,’ I figured it was where hamas had thrown the patients in the hospital so they could take the beds.
