“The Israeli government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid… No excuses”
There is a timing for everything and Kamala Harris specifically picked this particular location to launch her verbal assault on Israel. The location is the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, often used by Democrats to wrap themselves in the ‘bloody sheet’ and stage attacks on Republicans.
There’s nothing coincidental about it.
Sometimes politicians have to upstage a pre-scheduled event to react to some breaking crisis, but that’s not the case here. There was no urgent story that Kamala was commenting on that required upstaging the Edmund Pettus Bridge commemoration. But much like Hamas supporters have sabotaged every event and made it about them, Kamala decided to take a black civil rights event and make it about Arab Muslim terrorists in Gaza.
In a very calculated opening, Kamala claimed that “before I begin today, I must address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.”
She ranted that “the Israeli government must do more to significantly increase the flow of aid… No excuses. They must open new border crossings. They must not impose any unnecessary restrictions on the delivery of aid.”
The rant was followed by some formal remarks about Israel having a right to defend itself against Hamas, and the threat of Hamas having to be eliminated, which was quickly contradicted by a call for “an immediate ceasefire — for at least the next six weeks”.
Some who have not been paying close attention may be surprised by this, but Kamala has been the highest-ranking opponent of Israel in the administration since Oct 7. She’s undoubtedly been pushing to be able to do this kind of thing for some time. “Let me loose, boss.” And as Biden increased pressure on Israel, he did.
Kamala gets to score some points with the Left. And considering her boss faces the real risk of losing the White House, potentially ending her career, she’s thinking about the future, and maneuvering to break away while blaming his defeat on failing to ‘get right’ with the Left. This will be one of those issues.
A functional president wouldn’t let his Veep pull this nonsense, but Biden isn’t all that functional.
Using Selma as a stage for bashing Israel is despicable, but that is who Kamala is. This was the woman who tried to accuse her future boss of keeping her in chains for opposing busing. Like the scorpion and the frog, Biden and everyone else knew who and what Kamala was before they brought her on board.

Yes, I agree entirely. With the current world sway to the left, Kamala is showing her affinity with the masses to gain some political points. It’s interesting that the onus is always on Israel, the country that saw its people butchered, raped and burnt alive. At the time of the atrocities, many Palestinians supported Hamas, and were dancing in the streets as hundreds of everyday people were massacred.
And now ‘Israel must not impose any unnecessary restrictions on the delay of aid’. I mean from one perspective, why should they, in any case, allow themselves to follow the dictates of anyone who did not suffer their inhuman, bestial atrocities?
Kamala’s statement ‘Israel must not impose any unnecessary restrictions’ of course is a statement that really says Israel is, in fact, ‘imposing unnecessary restrictions’. Does she have any evidence that Israel is imposing restrictions? Of course not. Has she shown any gratitude for Israel’s aid. No. Her rants expose a slur on Israeli integrity.
Moreover, did she state ‘Aid from Israel must not be forcibly taken by Hamas Militants? Of course not – the onus is never on them – no news website has the strength of character to even explicitly suggest the onus is on Hamas to leave the aid alone AND to release the hostages.
Rather than cunningly obscuring hidden agendas, Kamala should, if she was of forthright and noble character, state, ‘Israel should explore alternative channels for aid distribution that will reach the people of Gaza, rather than directly feeding Hamas’.(Politico.eu).
She is similar in nature to the ‘Pro Pal’ brigade – giving out heart-endearing, tear-jerking, sweeping statements which do not in fact reflect the actual circumstances and factual basis of the issues they refer to.
Deviating momentarily, ‘Pro-Pal’ die-hards are seemingly unaware of (or conceal the reality of) the underlining causes of the suffering in Palestine. Palestine’s current lot in life is largely the cumulative effects of their own character disposition and the choices they have made on interacting with other players in the region, whilst under the influence of anger, despair, suffering and hatred. At perhaps an even deeper level, their ruthless, obsessional religion has robbed them of a natural life and stifled any chances of natural happiness or acted on inspiration. Though there may have been questionable land expansion in the past, Israeli surely cannot solely be blamed for all of Palestine’s woes.
As such (sorry for lengthy attempt to look deeply into the issue), Kamala is simply going with the flow, bolstering her ‘do-gooder’ image by appealing to the mindless masses who forsake reason and common sense for erroneous beliefs, emotions and obscure agendas. Well, that’s how I see it, anyway!

That ‘s folly . For Hamas will just take any ‘aid” sent to the peaceful citizens of Gaza to use to for themselves in their murderous jihad against the Jewish State of Israel.

That extreme-leftist Kamala Harris with her comrade of the Red/Green alliance would be a catastrophe for both America and Israel if she would, “by hook or by crook,” obtain the Office of the Presidency of the United States.
So much so that if she does become the next US President would be such a calamity on the national and international level would be so severe that the damage that she would do would, most likely, be completely irreversible .
