A row has broken out after a judge who decided to let three women wearing parachute images at a pro-Palestine march walk free admitted to liking a social media post branding Israel a ‘terrorist’.
Tanweer Ikram is facing calls to be investigated for a conflict of interest after he liked a LinkedIn post calling for a ‘free Palestine ‘ by a barrister who had previously promoted conspiracy theories claiming that Israel allowed the October 7 attack.
The senior district judge admitted to liking the post ‘by mistake’ three weeks ago, but was told by the Judicial Office that the matter would not be investigated further.
A number of social media users felt Mr Ikram should face disciplinary action after judicial guidance issued last year stated that judges known to have strong views should consider whether to hear a case.
These calls were fueled further by senior legal figures including a former home secretary and a Jewish campaign group, who called for a review of Mr Ikram’s sentencing.
The post which was liked by Ikram stated: ‘Free Free Palestine. To the Israeli terrorist both in the United Kingdom, the United States, and of course Israel you can run, you can bomb but you cannot hide — justice will be coming for you.’
A X user posted a photo of the post liked by Mr Ikram, along with the caption: ‘This is Tanweer Ikram, the ‘impartial’ judge who decided not to punish 3 women who were convicted of terrorism offences for displaying images of paragliders, celebrating the Hamas tactics.
‘He needs to be investigated since this is a conflict of interest.’
Another person commented: ‘Fully agree. There is conflict of interest. Tanweer Ikram, by not voluntarily recusing himself, reveals that he cannot be trusted. He needs to be investigated.’ …

I read an article a couple of days ago, written by a Brit, about **his** country which could have been posted here on JW.
He made a lot of the same points and from his own Brit perspective and experience.
He said basically the same thing, giving many examples, including jihadist ones, explaining that Britian is no more.

This man, Naz Shah (she of the demand that muslim rape victims shut their mouths for the hood of diversity), Khan, the dhimmi London Met, the muslim pedo representative, the unwillingness of various PDs and social services to arrest and prosecute the muslim traffickers of children, the endless flow of boaties in 4 star hotels, the sharia courts, the beheading of the soldier Lee Rigby, the streets blocked to become instant mosques, the two tier treatment currently in evidence wrt marches where they arrest only those carrying English flags, and so on. That’s what leads to the fear that it’s at an inflection point.
It isn’t my contention as I’m not British and am merely quoting the comment. I know of treasonous reps in Congress, Dearbornistan, other compounds in the US, the open border, and the lack of prosecution of FGM, etc. I think there’s enough to concern both countries and for citizens to begin rising against this institution of sharia.

If what they did was a crime, then the only reason he didn’t sentence them is because he agrees with them and what they did.

If I walked around with a T-shirt that said ‘F-ck Mohammad’ or had an image of a burning Quran and I was in an Islamic country what do you think would happen to me?
Chances are I’d be lynched by a mob of Muslims in seconds or arrested/jailed and then killed or ‘freed’ for the mob to then end my life.
Like what’s happened to people merely accused of blasphemy (or burning qurans) in Pakistan for example…it doesn’t matter that they were found to be innocent, just the accusation is enough to make Islamomaniacs go into a violent frenzy.
So to an extent I agree-we shouldn’t sink to their level of barbarism/fascism and arrest/jail people “simply” for standing for a certain viewpoint…but then views matter don’t they?
A slap on the wrist won’t solve this problem, we need to separate these two incompatible groups…meaning that Muslims need to be expelled…maybe give those a chance who want to stay and are willing to leave Islam.

To quote Newt Gingrich, who saw this coming a long time ago-after 9/11….he said “we’re sleepwalking into disaster.” He was talking about Islam/Muslims.
I suspect we’re all going to just keep going about our lives as if there’s nothing wrong and one day the Muslims will surprise us again with large scale terrorist attacks.
In the past they used to invade countries with swords on horseback and they slaughtered countless millions of people…so what we’ve seen so far is a drop in the bucket of what they’re truly capable of.
The only reason we don’t see more attacks is that their numbers are still somewhat small and the authorities are kind of keeping an eye on the worst ones…but as their numbers grow, it’ll only get much worse…since the authorities can’t watch millions of them.
Perhaps the biggest problem is the cowardice and treason we see by non-Muslims who are pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes about the truth nature of this deadly ideology.
I think we need our own ‘Pearl Harbor’ moment to get people to smarten the F up and deal with Islam as we did with other fascist ideologies.
