There is still an ongoing misunderstanding, or a reluctance to accept the fact that the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas are no different in their goal of obliterating Israel from the River to the Sea. To this end, the atrocities against Israeli citizens on October 7 were fully embraced by the Palestinian Authority. In fact, less than two weeks after October 7, the PA provided Hamas murderers $2,789,430 in “Pay-For-Slay” largesse.
The magically multiplying Palestinian “refugees” went from 600,000 in 1949 to ten times that number prior to October 7. They have for a considerable period been aided by the terrorist-harboring UNRWA, and duped the Western world. The Palestinian leadership has continued to bleed foreign taxpayers. Just four months ago, the UK foreign secretary “announced a £10 million package of funding” for UNRWA. That’s $12.7 million USD. So of course the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are furious now that the gravy train has slowed down. They’re likely in a panic, too, as they stand to lose billions.
The Palestinians are Ottoman South Syrians, scattered refugees from the region after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. They are not indigenous to the region, as are the Jews. This is proven by archeological evidence.

Hamas and officials in the Palestinian Authority (PA) reacted with fury and condemnation to the decision of the U.S. and some 15 other countries to suspend funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) over the involvement of several of its employees in the October 7 attack against Israel. The numerous condemnations reflected the Palestinian leadership’s perception that UNRWA’s role is to perpetuate the Palestinians’ refugee status until all the refugees can return to their original homes inside Israel.
Accordingly, Palestinian officials claimed that the terror allegations against UNRWA staffers were part of an Israeli “incitement campaign” aimed at undermining this agency, which embodies “the accumulating memory of the suffering of the Palestinian refugees” and is “a source of the Palestinian refugees’ hope for aid and for returning to their homes.” Hamas claimed that UNRWA’s role is to defend not only the refugees’ right to return to their homes but also their right to resist the occupation.
The following are some of the reactions by Hamas, the PA and Fatah to the decision of several countries to suspend funding for UNRWA.
Hamas: UNRWA’s Role Is To Support The Palestinians’ Right To Resist Occupation
In a January 27, 2024 statement, Hamas condemned UNRWA’s decision to terminate the contracts of several of its staffers in Gaza over allegations of their involvement in the October 7 attacks, and added that one of UNRWA’s roles is to support the Palestinian resistance. The statement said: “We strongly condemn the description of our people’s resistance as terror or as horrific acts, as [claimed in UNRWA’s] statement… Furthermore, the political position that UNRWA must adopt, based on its mandate, is one that defends the rights of the refugees it represents – first and foremost their right to protection and to resist the occupation by all legitimate means, as well as their right to return to the homes from which they were forcible expelled.”[1]

In an article in the Palestinian daily Al-Quds, author Baha Rahhal likewise stated that one of the goals of UNRWA is to ensure the return of the Palestinian refugees and their descendants to their original homes….

Some people point out that many Ashkenazi Jews have little or no Middle Eastern origins. However, plenty of the Palestinian Arabs also have origins outside of the Palestine and Israel areas.
As Robert Spencer notes in his book “The Palestinian Delusion” (I paraphrase): “It is true that a Tel Aviv phonebook will have many names such as Berlin, Warsaw or Toledano. However, a Palestinian phonebook will likewise have many names such as Al-Misri (Egyptian), Al-Maghrebi (Moroccan, Algerian or Tunisian) and Al-Chalabi (Syrian).” For example, Yasser Arafat himself was born in Cairo and was an Egyptian Arab Muslim.
Moreover, at least half of Israeli Jews are Mizrahi Jews, who have origins in the Middle East and North Africa. In fact, over 800,000 Mizrahi Jews were expelled from Muslim countries in collective punishment following the re-establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.

Whatever facts or reasons are indicated or given for Western action, Muslims simply ‘go the opposite way’ – their ‘default setting’. They appear to now be beyond the reach of dialogue and reason. This ‘Brotherhood cult’ is becoming increasingly deluded and divorced from the natural world, and seemingly more compelled then ever to establish their baseless, self – ordained rule, of subjugating ‘infidels’ ( those still in possession of their faculties) and wiping out Jewish people, with whom, ironically, they share a common ancestry. Their delusion and idiocy seems limitless. But most disturbingly, they have allowed their behaviour to descend to the depths of barbarianism and depravity.
To spread their ‘supreme way of living’, paradoxically, they must threaten, intimidate, maim and kill to achieve it. Their rule stifles natural human inclinations and even simple happiness. This seems to be reflected in the environments in which so many Arabic people live – barren, life-less, dead.
Their loyalty to the myth of Allah is nothing but an expression of their obsessional, increasingly fanatical mob rule mentality that ‘has taken over the reins’, pushing reason, empathy and compassion aside. To me at least, this always brings to mind the gang mentality of Hyenas! how political heads now are beginning to praise Hamas is truly sickening. Whether it’s through fear or actual feeling I really don’t know. It’s truly disgusting how one fellow Muslim is obliged to overlook the most horrific acts of another.
And how one can easily be swayed by the authoritative, stern, condemnations of Imams which somehow give some kind of legitimacy to this loathsome organized crime group operating in the guise of the righteousness of their object of worship, Allah, which is basically themselves.
As so many have of course pointed out so many times before, there is no legitimacy to subjugation, and actual killing – the rule of Allah is nothing but an empty facade.
For myself at least, this growing self-legitimizing imposition of Allah’s rule is the biggest hoax, scam or fraud to outdo all others. Do Muslims actually believe in this nonsense, or do they just wish to go with it anyway or do they have to? It’s insidious, malignant. It seems everyone’s personal anger, hate, and misery is now somehow caused by Israel and Jewish people. How convenient. It is really some kind of insanity – this irrational witch hunt for Israelis and Jewish people!

The statement said: “We strongly condemn the description…” It seems that the writer of the paragraph describing UNRWA’s raison d’être should have used different letters of the alphabet from ‘condemn’ to ‘concur.’ Many of the readers here at JW have expressed our outrage at the US as well as other nations that claim to believe in truth and moral correctness for using our tax revenues to fund terrorist supporting, in this case participating, organizations. The real reason for UNRWA’s existence it to perpetuate the misery of specific people in order to create a continuous supply of young terrorist such as those from the ghetto in Beirut where the inhabitants are forced to live in poverty and four year old children to hate the Jews in Gaza.
