Northern Ireland’s First Minister says Hamas will be a future ‘partner for peace’

“‘Hamas a future partner for peace’: says new Nationalist Northern Irish First Minister,” by Yuval Barnea, Jerusalem Post, February 10, 2024:

Michelle O’Neill, the recently elected First Minister of Northern Ireland, said on Thursday that Hamas will eventually be regarded as the future partner for peace in the Middle East in an interview on LBC.

O’Neill is the first nationalist First Minister of Northern Ireland, the post previously having been held by unionists, she was elected last week by the Northern Ireland Assembly after the office had been left vacant for two years due to a political deadlock.

O’Neill appeared on Tonight with Andrew Marr on LBC to be interviewed about upcoming changes and plans for Northern Ireland after her historic victory.

Pivoting from discussions on Irish neutrality Marr asks her “A long time ago the IRA was seen as a terrorist organization, the British Government and everybody else could not ever talk to. Do you think that Hamas, although regarded as a terror organization by many people around the world, is going to eventually have to be a partner for peace?”

“Yes,” says O’Neill, “I think you only have to look at our own example to know how important dialogue is and that’s the only way you’re ever going to bring an end to conflict.”

“If republicans didn’t talk to the British government or the British government didn’t talk to the republicans, in the past in Ireland we would not be in the scenario we are in today, enjoying a peaceful and far more equal society today.”…

    There is a world of difference between what happened in Ireland’s history and what is happening with the …continuing history….of mozlums engaging in a war that is intended to subjugate the entire earth to evil.

    If this woman went to any mozlum nation….be it afghanistan, pakistan, or even gaza ruled by hamas…she would know just how much mozlums value ‘peace’ and how much they would *respect* her as a person.
    She could try being bare-headed in iran and see how long before she was minus her head. She is obviously unaware that iran controls hamas, and iran wants nothing to do with peace.

    Politicians do like to put on a show.Ireland’s leader Leo varadkar has nothing but contempt for the Irish but does put on a good show of pretending to care about Irish history.He works for his masters the WEF.

    There was the Marxist Lefties IRA which of course would have been pro Pally.
    There is this idiotic belief that the Pally’s are heroes fighting for freedom like the marxist Lefty IRA of the 1970s on.The Lefty Marxist IRA did not have full support.
    The israelis are induging in a defensive military operation gainst Hamas which is seeking to kill the Israelis.

    It is doubtful if Lady O ‘ Neill understands that.

  7. When you do not have the slightest idea of what is really going on around you, you feel free to say whatever you like. Unfortunately, if you are in elected office, often, large numbers of people around you may believe that you actually know what you are doing and believe in what you say. Northern Ireland’s First Minister O’Neil is a good example of this.

As someone who lives in Northern Ireland,it never ceases to amaze me that here we have unrepentant terrorists in power.Oneill’s family have a long background in terrorist activity-as do the rest of sinn fein/ira..Unfortunately,it comes as no surprise that a terrorist supporter would cosy up to another terrorist group. Unfortunatley for her,and her supporters, islamic terrorism is not quite the same as her groups “war”(if you could call it that.planting bombs and murdering civilians is not the mark of a real army). Perhaps she should go and try some sunbathing on the beachfront in gaza-that way she’d be able to experience the hospitality of her hamas friends,first hand!
