Around ten houses are slightly elevated, a place where everyone knows each other. “I wondered who could have done this,” says Bicquet when he discovered this damage. “It’s not local people, but rather people who take the departmental road, I think.”
This is the question that occupies many minds, which is hidden behind this series of tags. “It’s provocation,” says the mayor of Cherveix-Cubas, Jean-Marie Queyroi. “They want to make a mess, I don’t understand why people are trying to turn one part of the population against the other.” The first councilor filed a complaint, like his colleague from Saint-Pantaly-d’Excideuil. an investigation was entrusted to the gendarmerie for aggravated damage because these are public utility goods and linked to religion.
