The National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) is an offshoot of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), with quite the listing at Jihad Watch. See HERE. The group has grown in Canada over the years, and has become accustomed to getting what it wants from the the Trudeau government by manipulating the “Islamophobia” subterfuge. It has been having considerable difficulty since October 7, and is realizing that its own Hamas support is not the mission of all politicians or all Canadians. The group recently canceled a meeting with its most powerful ally, Trudeau, “over his stance on Gaza,” despite the fact that Trudeau had already instructed Canada’s UN representatives to side with the NCCM on a ceasefire in Gaza.
In the group’s view, Trudeau still isn’t doing enough. The NCCM’s chief executive, Stephen Brown, stated: “We no longer think it’s productive to speak with this prime minister.” The NCCM wants to see “real tangible action to reduce Islamophobia in this country,” and wants to see Canada “taking real tangible action to stop the hostilities in the Middle East.” This means, of course. that the NCCM wants to see Canada exert more pressure upon Israel. The group means business, as it is drawing a line in the sand. According to the NCCM “and several local congregations”:

The funding they’re referring to is that which goes to UNRWA. Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA’s commissioner general, recently admitted that UNRWA employees are tied to Hamas. He stated: “Our employees are part of the social fabric in Gaza and its ecosystem. And as part of the social fabric in Gaza, you also have Hamas.” Over 30 UNRWA employees actively participated in the October 7 jihad massacre. Nonetheless, the NCCM et al want UNRWA funding restored, pronto. They also want interference from the Canadian government in Israel’s affairs as the only Jewish state in the world battles for its very existence.
For Trudeau, Ramadan this year will be quite different from last year’s:
Trudeau is a quandary as he declines in status in the mainstream Muslim community. The action. by the NCCM and its allies is a kick in the teeth to Trudeau, and to those politicians who refused to believe that they were being played by mainstream Islamic lobbies; those lobbies always required full compliance with their demands, or else. Look at what Trudeau experienced recently at a mosque:
Islam is expansionist at its core. Many politicians have bent over backwards in hopes of gaining the Muslim vote, not realizing that there would inevitably be a price tag. “Diversity” and “tolerance” are not the values of Islamic supremacists, which should go without saying. Biden, too, faces a similar conundrum since October 7.

With Ramadan just around the corner, a national Muslim organization and several local congregations are warning members of Parliament they won’t be welcome in their mosques until they call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, demand restoration of funding for the UN’s aid agency and condemn what they call Israel’s “war crimes.”
An open letter signed by the National Council of Canadian Muslims and a number of prominent mosques, obtained by CBC News, says MPs who refuse to make these pledges publicly will not be “provided with a platform to address our congregations.”
“If you cannot publicly commit to all of the above, respectfully, we cannot provide you with a platform to address our congregations,” the letter says.
“Ramadan is about humanity. This Ramadan, more than ever, only those MPs who share in our commitment to humanity will be welcome to address us in our sacred spaces.”
The letter, which is being released today, also says MPs must oppose “the flow of arms and military equipment” to Israel and stand up for “the right of Canadians to express solidarity with the Palestinian people without fear of reprisal.”
The Canadian Council of Imams (CCI) is one of hundreds of organizations that signed the letter. CCI director Abd Alfatah Twakkal said the letter is about sending a “message” to politicians.
“It’s imperative that those who are in positions of power and responsibility … advocate in order to stop the killing,” he said.
“We expect … government officials that are elected and put in these positions to represent the population. We are saying that this is what we expect in terms of representing the Muslim community and others.”….

Maybe Canadian Members of Parliament should warn these Muslim “leaders” that they will not be welcome in Parliament or any other public office until they disavow their support for HAMAS and other Muslim terrorist groups; demand that Arab states provide compensation to the almost one million Jews who were expelled from their homes during the 1950s; and condemn the outrageous human rights abuses that occur on a daily basis in every Muslim/Arab country around the world?
Oh, and then the MPs should remind these Muslim “leaders” that they need to obey the laws and customs of the country that has so graciously provided them the opportunity and privilege to living in a free and democratic society, which none of them enjoyed in wherever it is they emigrated from to Canada: namely, the equality of men and women under the law; non-discrimination against homosexuals; non-discrimination against Jews, Christians, and Hindus; and the cessation of calls from their pulpits in mosques in Canada for jihad against the infidels.

In time, people everywhere will realise that letting Muslims into their non-Muslim countries is the dumbest move ever made.
