It wouldn’t do for HMV to look as if it were against killing Jewish children these days. The Hamas protesters would be baying for blood in front of every HMV outlet within minutes.

A furious Rachel Riley has blasted entertainment retailer HMV after a tweet was published which she said failed to acknowledge Jewish children being saved from Nazis.
The Countdown presenter, 37, took to social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – to express her rage at a tweet by the high street giant plugging a film about British humanitarian Nicholas Winton, which stars Anthony Hopkins and Helen Bonham Carter.
The HMV tweet said: “The story of British humanitarian Nicholas Winton, who helped save hundreds of Central European children from the Nazis on the eve of World War II. SECURE YOUR COPY.”
Riley – who last year was awarded an MBE for services to Holocaust education and fighting antisemitism – was quick to share her disgust at what she said showed what the store chain really thought about Jewish Holocaust survivors: that they were no longer “creditable”.
She shared the HMV tweet and posted: “Wow. They can’t even bring themselves to say ‘Jewish children’ were saved from the Nazis.
“Jewish child Holocaust survivors no longer creditable? Sign of the messed up times.”…
It read: “The salient fact about the children saved by Nicholas Winton from the Nazis is not that they were ‘Central European’, but that they were Jews.”…

It’s similar to when there was the horrific bombings at several hotels and at a Catholic cathedral in Sri Lanka in 2019, that killed many people. Some left-wing people were saying “Easter worshippers.” The people who died were *Christians* (and mostly Catholic Christians.).

Perhaps this type of mental gymnastics is how the inflated figures of dead Gazan children is being used by Hamas.
They are counting all the murdered Israeli children as theirs. Using the “river to the sea” mentality to justify it. Remember, anyone who lives in Palestine can be counted as Palestinians if it is to the benefit of Hamas.

Yes, you’re right. The original logo had a dog listening to a recording of his master’s voice coming from the big horn of a gramophone player. The dog submits to its (“his”) master; “Islam” we are told means “submission” so muslims also get down on the ground, head towards Mecca, posterior therefore unseemly and inescapably pointed towards the land of the Jews (I’m sure that insult to the People of the Book was what Mohammad really intended -at that time was there any reason for Mohammad to pay homage to Mecca?)

Nicky Winton insisted that he saved “Children”, not only Jewish children. About 10% of the children he saved were from the families of Communists, writers and others persecuted by the Nazis.
