The disruptive pro-Palestinian/Hamas protesters waved Palestinian flags and called the neighborhood a “‘Zionist-infested area,’ something Mr. Mendocino said was ‘unacceptable.’” Marco Mendicino is a Liberal MP and former minister of public safety. It is indeed unacceptable, so unacceptable, in fact, that Toronto police should have dispersed the crowd rather than allow their hatred, intimidation and disruption of North America’s busiest highway. But they didn’t.
Leftists have institutionalized cancel culture — punishing truth-tellers and any speech that is offensive to their cause, including the speech of those who warn about jihad (stealth and violent). Yet when speech such as that of the pro-Hamas lobby crosses the threshold of Canadian hate laws (inciting hatred and even violence against Jews), authorities condemn it verbally, but take no action.
Little is being done to protect the Jewish community against antisemitism and threats of violence, and nothing is being done to stop pro-Hamas activists from expanding their efforts to intimidate Jews and subvert the societies of infidels.

Toronto police closed off the Avenue Road overpass across Highway 401 on New Year’s Day due to safety concerns around a pro-Palestinian protest in the area related to the current war in Gaza.
Police said there would be no access to Avenue Road from the highway.
“Police are on scene to enforce this in order to keep demonstrators, counter-demonstrators, and passing traffic safe. Stay tuned for re-opening details,” the Toronto Police Service (TPS) posted on X, formerly Twitter, at 3:04 p.m. local time.
Over the weekend, police had to shut down the same overpass for a similar pro-Palestine protest that included a prayer session just before noon on Dec. 30, 2023.
Canadian politicians have expressed concern over the targeting of Jews who live in the area.

In Ontario and Quebec most 60%-70% support the pro Hamas protests.Even if you look at Ontario a concerns high leave of people support Sharia law last poll had about 48% supporting it.
