In late November, the Palestinian Authority announced: “Our hearts are open” to Hamas. By January 4, Hamas was promoting the idea of a unity government with the Palestinian Authority. Top PA official Jibril Rajoub is now calling for full unity with Hamas and all surrounding area jihad groups.
In 2019, Jibril Rajoub escaped prosecution for incitement against Israel “because he is a senior Palestinian Authority official.”
Hamas’ popularity among Palestinians surged after October 7, highlighting the depth of Palestinian support the annihilation of the Jewish State.
Increasingly, the jihadist mission to first obliterate Israel and then proceed to an Islamic caliphate is becoming more apparent globally, even though far too many are still naive regarding this. Hamas Political Bureau member and former Minister of the Interior Fathi Hammad declared in early December that the “Palestinians are preparing to establish global Islamic caliphate with Jerusalem as its capital.” Rajoub reflects this mission in his call for Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, etc., to “Come build a political rapprochement regarding the international project.”
The intimidating global pro-Hamas demonstrations are just the tip of the iceberg.

While many question what will happen and who will rule the Gaza Strip after Israel has destroyed Hamas’ terror infrastructure, the PA’s Fatah leaders are confident that the PA /Fatah will unite with Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror organizations and together will rule Gaza.
Some PA and Fatah leaders have been adamant about joining forces with the terror organizations. Jibril Rajoub, a top PA official and Fatah Central Committee Secretary, speaking in the name of Mahmoud Abbas, the PA leadership, and the PLO Executive Committee, has repeatedly stressed the PA’s goal of uniting with Hamas and Islamic Jihad – which he whitewashes as “political Islam” – against Israel:

If I were in a position in the Country of Israel I would NOT allow any Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank or any area of Israel. Period.
