Not defunding the police as they are but following the chain of command orders-as is their job. Defund from the top-those who are in fact responsible for these actions. Otherwise it is like defunding MacDonald workers for serving meat.

Starting at around 2015 the city started to influence the New York City Police Department to arrest both parties of an assault when the New York penal law clearly explains that the aggressor is the one to get arrested. Apparently if there was a physical altercation here the police possibly and more likely did not do a thorough investigation into who was the aggressor in the physical confrontation. If there is video footage prior to this arrest it would be crucial to understanding what exactly happened but what is being presented is deeply troubling and disturbing. The public has a right to know about this incident from the police department and if it is true that this victim was revictimized with a false arrest the public also has a right to know and something must be done to re-educate Law Enforcement officers about the New York State penal law! City councils do not control law enforcement and unfortunately this has been forgotten over the past 5 years to say the least!
