“Something appalling happened”
Al-Haq, a “human rights nonprofit” operating in Israel is pretty much a terror group.
On October 22, 2021, the Israeli Ministry of Defense declared Al-Haq a “terror organization” because it is part of “a network of organizations” that operates “on behalf of the ‘Popular Front’.”
Jabarin was convicted in 1985 for recruiting and arranging training for members for the PFLP. A 1994 Israeli statement to the UN notes that he “had not discontinued his terrorist involvement and maintains his position in the leadership of the PFLP.”
According to multiple Arabic-language media sources, Al-Haq General Director Shawan Jabarin represented the PFLP at a December 2011 meeting of the Follow-Up Committee for Issues of Public Liberties and Trust Building. This body served as a reconciliatory body between Hamas, Fatah, PIJ, the PFLP, and other Palestinian factions.
On January 28, 2023, a day after the murder of seven Israelis by a Palestinian gunman outside of a Jerusalem synagogue, Abdeen wrote, “What happened in occupied Jerusalem is that a Jerusalemite young man from the sons of the capital, carried out, alone, a resistance action on Palestinian land (occupied Jerusalem), the land of his fathers and forefather, and this action is legitimate according to international humanitarian law and human rights law…What happened in occupied Jerusalem and other cities and villages…is called legitimate resistance under international law. it is a legitimate and effective means to end the colonial occupation and expel the invading occupiers…”
Naturally, Al-Haq is funded by George Soros with a 3-year grant totaling $800,000 beginning in 2020 to work on human rights.
By human rights, Soros and Al-Haq mean the murder of Jews. Here’s Al-Haq’s latest fight for human rights. The rights of the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other Islamic terrorists involved.
As Palestinian Media Watch notes, “Apparently, the Al-Haq Institute for Human Rights thinks that Palestinian terrorist murderers have rights and can massacre with impunity, and that when Israelis/Jews are attacked, raped, molested, tortured, and threatened, they should only object politely without trying to kill their attackers and save their own lives.
This is the insane belief revealed in an interview with Director of the Al-Haq Institute for Human Rights Sha’awan Jabarin, who expressed concern over Israel’s treatment of the invading Hamas terrorist murderers:
“A topic [that] still isn’t clear… is the matter of those who entered [Israel] on [Oct.] 7 from the Gaza Strip – civilians, fighters (i.e., Hamas terrorist murderers), and others – and how [the Israelis] behaved towards them. The summary executions, whether [the Oct. 7 attack] served just as an excuse for summary executions. What happened on [Oct.] 7 will be become clear in terms of the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) behavior. Something appalling happened to hundreds of those (i.e., terrorist murderers) who entered [Israel].”
This isn’t too surprising because this is how Al-Haq which, I repeat, is a group funded by Soros and other American nonprofits, responded to the Oct 7 atrocities.
“On Saturday, 7 October 2023, Palestinian armed groups engaged in an operation in response to escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, including; the ongoing closure of the Gaza Strip, daily military raids in the West Bank, attacks against Palestinian communities in the West Bank, killings*, mass arbitrary arrests, inhumane treatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention, appropriation of natural resources, home demolitions, and the settlers storming of Al-Aqsa compound.”
The ongoing funding of terror groups and their cutouts, proxies and allies by Soros and other donors is a terror funding loophole that must end.

Preaching that Hamas is the victim is just another ploy at being the victim. Hamas attacked Israel filmed it even. Hamas is evil pure and simple.
Israel protecting themselves, they are in the right to do so.
As for George Soros, another pure evil person. Everything he does is to help evil advance in the world spending billions to make it happen.

Infidel, I think that it is pure Orwellian. The victim is not allowed to defend him/her self when attacked by butchers? Also the idea that Soros is anti-Semitic is only partially true as he is a Jewish Jew hater of the worst kind. For those who don’t know, he assisted the NATZIs in Hungary round up Jews trying to hide and then stole their valuables. While I worked at the State Department, I asked several people and the consular section at several embassies how was a person who should have been listed as a NATZI sympathizer given US citizenship. I have yet to receive an answer.

Ray, please note that I am *no* fan of Soros and his views–including his frequent perverse antisemitism.
But he was a 14-year-old boy when WWII ended. He was a messenger for the Judenrat (Jewish advice council) because his father was a member. The incident you refer to is when he was given a list of names by authorities to deliver to the council. This made him uneasy, so he asked his father about it. It was guessed that this was a list of Jews about to be arrested by the Nazis, and that they should flee if possible. He actually warned those on the list. Of course, few were able to get out of Hungary at this point, but simply listing Soros as a Jew implementing Nazi policy is too simple–most Jewish communmities had Judenrats, and they were tasked with aiding authorities collaborating with the Nazis. Most hoped that they might be able to save at least part of their communities, but this hope was often in vain.
There is plenty of ugly stuff that Soros is actually guilty of–but characterizing him as a Nazi is, I believe, unwarranted.

Somehistory, Soros is 93 years old. He was born in 1930. He was 14 when WWII ended in Europe.
As I noted, I am *not* a fan of Soros–but stories that he was a Nazi who turned in Jews fleeing the Holocaust are not accurate.
I have read several accounts of him during the Holocaust. This from Newsweek covers the same history:

But, respectfully, I don’t believe that this applies to Soros as a child from everything I have read. We will have to disagree somewhat here, unless you have evdence that Soros was hunting down Jews as a child.
As I noted, though, I think there is plenty re Soros’ actions as an adult that damn him–including this shameful story above.

These Muslim scum of the earth are always going on about becoming martyrs, and not fearing death, so killing the scum and sending them off to Hell is the best thing for the scum. Of course, there’s never any logic from Muslims, any bullshit that they think of at the time will do. Muslims are always whingeing about everything, and now this disgusting creature seems to think the scum from hamas deserve to be treated humanely.
