Those who wish Israel ill are up in arms about the IDF’s plan to flood the network of tunnels Hamas has built under Gaza. They are angry because they fear the novel plan will work: Hamas operatives will be flushed out, forced to scurry out of the tunnels and appear above ground, where the IDF can pick them off. The water in the tunnels will also weaken the tunnels by soaking their walls, and the soil just above them, so that they will be more susceptible to eventual collapse; Hamas will never again be able to use them as they have been doing. Hold on: when they say “Goods indispensable to civilian survival could also be at risk,” doesn’t that mean that they are admitting that Hamas tunnels are warehouses for the aid that the world has been sending into Gaza for the past decades?
Critics of the flooding plan, like Eurasia Review, also say things like “Flooding the tunnels could damage Gaza’s aquifer and soil, if seawater and hazardous substances in the tunnels seep into them.”“Hazardous substances” means “explosives.”Now, why might there be explosives in the tunnels?…The list of bad things listed in that article that “could” happen if Israel floods the tunnels is almost comical, but the pièce de résistance (so to speak) comes at the end.Flooding the tunnels could affect the cultural heritage and identity of Gaza, which has a rich and diverse history and culture. The tunnels are part of Gaza’s landscape and memory, and they reflect its character and spirit. Flooding the tunnels could .. affect the cultural expressions and practices of Gaza’s people, such as the art, literature and folklore that are inspired by or related to the tunnels.Yes, the terror tunnels must be protected because they are an important part of Gaza’s culture!
Do the Gazans really want those ghastly tunnels — which will be left in ruins by the IDF — to be thought of as part of the “cultural heritage and identity of Gaza”? How many Germans like to think of the extermination camps as part of the “cultural heritage and identity” of their country, or aren’t those camps, rather, something of which they are ashamed? The camps are part of their history, but not of their “cultural heritage,” which is a different, and a positive, thing.
How many Russians want to preserve the Soviet labor camps of Vorkuta and Kolyma, as part of their “cultural heritage”? A museum in Moscow, containing testimonies, photographs, and videos, of life in the camps that constituted the Gulag, would be enough to preserve the memory of that hideous aspect of Soviet history.
By all means, the people of Gaza should preserve the memory of the malignant and wasteful tunnels forced on them by Hamas, but they have no need to preserve what remains of those tunnels — 800 of the approximately 1000 that existed have already been destroyed by the IDF —themselves. Must the tunnels really be preserved as part of Gaza’s “landscape and memory,” or are they testimony only to the murderous madness of Hamas, hellbent on murder, and indifferent to the wellbeing of the people of Gaza it has caused? Perhaps one tunnel might be preserved, so that Gazan schoolchildren can visit and see what Hamas wrought in its unhinged unquenchable desire to kill Israelis; that would be more than enough to preserve the memory of the terror group’s madness. Some claim that the tunnels must not be flooded because the resulting damage would affect “the art, literature and folklore that are inspired by or related to the tunnels.” I very much doubt that the “art, literature, and folklore” of Gaza — is there any worth mentioning? — could ever be “inspired” in a good way by those hideous tunnels. Go to it, IDF engineers. Flood those tunnels. Flush the killers out.

Let’s make the tunnels a world historical site
Retrieve the bodies of hamas ‘freedom fighters’, preserve the body in its elegance
And then put the bodies as statues in the tunnel, with spotlights
And maybe even have a recording ..say the stuff you hear in the group marches
And then with these relics, we have guided tours to tell visitor about the glorious history
The catacombs of Gaza…. with mummified hamas freedom fighters, with their instruments of murder

Those Hamas jihadists can’t be reasoned with, for they will not and cannot respond to reason or logic.
The only language that they are able to understand is that of harsh force. So that’s how those jihadists of Hamas should be death with ,as in having their tunnels flooded.
That’s how those should be contended with , ,that’s the hard reality .so either drown them of flush them out . For those Hamas jihadists in their underground tunnels they’re very comparable to mole rats.

What is funny is nothing was said when Egypt flooded the Hamas tunnels used to smuggle arms into the Gaza strip on the Egyptian side. It proved to be very effective. It is from Egypt Israel learned how good this tactic is.

It was Hamas that first viciously attacked the nation of Israel and raped and killed Israeli women at the beginning of this Israel-Hamas war. It is very appropriate for Israel to flood these Hamas tunnels in Gaza so that Hamas can no longer use these tunnels to hide themselves and to attack Israel.

One of the reasons Muslim Hamas supporters don’t want the tunnels destroyed is the appearance that Allah purposefully allowed the failure of Hamas.
Islam loves to point out destroyed architecture as a result of a society of wrong-thinkers. By extention, destruction of the tunnels and Hamas infers Allah is punishing Hamas and its supporters for their evil actions.

As for those, mole rat, jihadists of Hamas who had been drowned in their underground tunnels, as harsh as such a death might be, It’s still much more humane way to die than when the Hamas jihadists viciously tool live Jewish infants and deliberately and cruelly burned them to death.
Furthermore, many of the Israeli hostages had been tortured by the Hamas villains.
In addition, it’s also worth noting that during World War II the United States military understood the to win that war brutal cruel deadly methods were needed to be used against the Germans. As history reveals as on the bombing of the Dresden.
Likewise in the Israel -Hamas severe actions are necessary.

The Germans don’t see the extermination *camps* as their “culture” because they are not mozlums with a ‘culture’ of evil filth, of torture, of rape as *worship,* murder of babies, children, the elderly, the young, as a means to gain a *reward* from some creature of deceit.
The Russians don’t look at the infamous labor camps as part of a ‘culture’ they wish to honor because they are not mozlums who see such things with the evil and filthy lens of worship of a ‘god’ who demands such things from his worshippers.
The mozlums are arguing that the tunnels be preserved as “culture” because they see all of the means to their evil ends as something to be honored and preserved…like the videos hamas members made of the rape, mutilation and murder of innocent people were used to *inspire* mozlums around the world to heap praise on the murderers, the rapists, the ghouls of hamas.
The terrorists can point to the tunnels and say how clever is their ‘god’ for what he helped them to do in order to kill every Jew, and they can continue to use them for that purpose….if only they can convince the world to put enough pressure on Israel to stop the destruction.
The nine of every ten mozlums in Gaza can tell their children, their neighbors, their friends and relatives abroad to look at the tunnels and see how wonderful they are, how mozlum they are, how they show the deceit of their fake ‘god’ and proclaim how it brings praise to their fake ‘prophet.’
The hamas terrorists and their supporters are proud of the tunnels. Proud of the rapes, tortures and deaths they made possible.
