“Victory against Daesh A Religious Achievement: Iraqi Cleric,” International Quran News Agency, December 10, 2023:
IQNA – The head of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement described the country’s victory against the Daesh (ISIL or ISIS) Takfiri terrorist group as a great religious accomplishment.
In a message on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory against Daesh, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim said it would not have been achieved without the Fatwa of the Marja’iya (Shia religious authority) and the sacrifices of the Iraqi army, police, Popular Mobilization Units (PMU or Hashd al-Shaabi) and others.
He added that defeating Daesh was a great epic that opened a new chapter for Iraq and drew everyone’s respect for the country.
The cleric went on to say that in order to safeguard this stunning triumph and building a better future, the Iraqi nation has the opportunity to stabilize its democratic experience via the ballot boxes….

May god sow enmity between these two groups. May they fight each other and leave the rest of the world alone!

It is always good to see Shiites and Sunnis going at each other and preferably killing each other. When they are busy with that, they are both leaving the civilised World in peace.
