After the Hamas atrocities committed on October 7, when more Jews were slaughtered in a single day than at any time since the German murders, Israelis who had been, politically, at each other’s throats over proposals for judicial reform, discovered that they were suddenly united, as citizens of their tiny, threatened state, determined as never before to go after the terror group Hamas, and to destroy it utterly. They realized, in the shock and horror after October 7, that what divided them was as nothing compared to what united them. More on this rediscovery that “we are becoming Israelis again” can be found here: “After October 7, Many People Are Becoming Israeli Again,” by Gidon Ben-Zvi, Algemeiner, November 28, 2023:
Before October 7, living in Israel could leave you battered, bruised, and needing a stiff drink.
Sky high housing prices, exorbitant childcare costs, heavy regulations, relatively low median wages that translate into a lack of purchasing power, and an overdependence on imports for food and other essentials are the bare bones of life here.
When you combine all that with rising interest rates, inflation, and political turmoil, you get a giant pressure cooker.
Israel is now at war, and our daily challenges have been magnified by the terrible realization that all the talk about shrinking the conflict with the Palestinians until peace becomes viable, was a dangerous delusion.
Those in the Israeli “peace camp,” who denounced the “right-wingers” in the Netanyahu government, who were sure that a “two-state solution” was possible if only the sensible “on both sides” could get together, have been thoroughly disabused. The kibbutzim that were attacked on October 7 were full of left-wing Israelis hoping for “peace with our Arab neighbors.” Some of those who were murdered had been known to pick up Gazans at the border and drive them to hospitals in Israel for specialized treatment.
The Israelis now realize that a great many Palestinians who were not members of Hamas nonetheless praised the terror group’s atrocities and those who took part in them as “brave Muhajideen.” Many Arabs in Gaza and in Judea and Samaria celebrated the rapes, tortures, and murders of Israelis, handing out candies and pastries as the news spread, with the men triumphantly Allahu-akbaring and the women ululating. They also spat at and beat the hostages as they came into Gaza — in one reported case, the victim of their beating was a 12-year-old boy, in another, an 83-year-old grandmother. The “peace camp” in Israel has been reduced to a shadow of its former self, as even its most ardent supporters have been mugged, or worse than mugged, by reality.
Since Hamas’ massacre, during which 1,200 women, children, and men were slaughtered, the news coming out of Israel has naturally been focused on the war: the IDF’s fight to topple Gaza’s rulers, the plight of the 200,000 internally displaced Israelis who lost everything, hostage negotiations to secure the release of more than 200 people who were kidnapped by the terrorists, the diplomatic kabuki dance between Jerusalem and other world capitals, and the inevitable countdown to a ceasefire.
Those 200,000 Israelis who have been internally displaced include all those who have been moved out of the communities that border Gaza, and many of those who lived on the northern border with Lebanon. They will remain away from their houses next to Gaza for a long time, returning only when Hamas is totally destroyed, and will stay away from the northern border until they are sure that Hezbollah is no longer deemed a threat to people living in northern Israel., which means the IDF will likely have to conduct a similar campaign against Hassan Nasrallah’s goose-stepping bezonians, before Israelis can be allowed back in those communities.
What is flying under the international media’s radar, however, is the massive number of ordinary Israeli citizens who are mobilizing in support of their country.
Close to half of the Israeli population has volunteered in some way during the conflict, an unprecedented response catalyzed by the call-up of more than 300,000 army reservists, and the evacuation of citizens living around Gaza and along the northern border with Lebanon.
Since the outbreak of war, more than 200,000 Israelis who had been overseas returned home. People from Athens to Los Angeles dropped whatever they were doing on a moment’s notice. While some of these people were called up by the IDF, many others volunteered.
Think of that. 200,000 Israelis living abroad who immediately dropped everything — leaving jobs, leaving studies, leaving relatives — to return to Israel to do whatever they could for their embattled country. Some tens of thousands were reservists who had been called up, but more than 160,000 of those who returned were under no obligation to do so. But they all said “they had to go back” to help defend their country.

Hamas had proven not only the its words but ,more terrible murderous actions, starting on October 7th, that it wants to completely destroy the State of Israel and even commit genocide worldwide on the Jewish people.
The Hamas jihad murder in this current war it stated on 7th of October further reveals the terrible folly of Joe Biden and exposes his total lack of wisdom about the State of Israel when he said that “We still need a two-state solution. It is the only answer.” Biden had by saying that fool statement has shown what an ignorant man he actually is. On that other hand, maybe he’s just evil.
Joe Biden sure is the divider and chief and not just when comes to him dividing the American people into different political and social “camp.” For even on the international foreign level Biden is that awful divider.
For Biden backs and supports the awful scheme to divide the State of Israel into two. Meaning the so called “two state solution” is not really a valid idea and not a genuine solution. It will definitely not stop this awful Israeli –Muslim land conflict.
Thus a “two state solution” is out of the question. .This is because a “two state solution” not really a “solution” but an Islamic ploy of deception , a smokescreen and hoax and a fraud.
As observed early October those Hamas Islamic terror/murder attacks into Israel from Gaza reveals that even the idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly. To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel. Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. Therefore, those “peace talks” are a hoax.
For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocket attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel. For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

After those horrendous bloody murderous jihadist attacks by those Muslim terrorists of Hamas, on October 7th an Israeli government official said “They made a big mistake.”
The jihadists of Hamas did ,indeed, did make a “big mistake.” For it’s very fitting and even necessary that the Israeli military and police need to and have to engage in extensive measures of retribution for those Hamas terror /murder attacks.
For it’s very obvious that the jihadists who make up Hamas only understand the language of violent brutal force, therefore that’s exactly they should be dealt with.
To be even more clear and specific , Hamas, should be dealt with defeated and even destroyed is to hit it hard , hit it long and keep on hitting it with strong powerful forceful military strikes until it’s unable to raise up again with its ugly , vicious and deadly jihad Islamic head.

How about other countries? Will each one of us need a major jihad attack to unite?

Grab your King James bible. Read Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51 and Revelation chapters 17 and
18. That sure looks like the USA that we live in and
it does not look good.

Hugh Fitzgerald is very wicked in using the term “reform” – which is a value-judgement word.
If one of the Soros-funded District Attorneys were to use the word “reform”, you could be certain that the result would be a program of trifling punishments and early release of very nasty criminals.
Hugh, please use a neutral term, like “overhaul.”

“Wicked”, Billy???

His use of “reform” is neither.
