San Francisco: Islamic scholar says Jews are 1% of world’s population, yet cause ‘99% of the problems of the world’

Imagine if a Jewish rabbi or Christian priest or pastor said that Muslims cause 99% of the world’s problems. The outcry would be insistent and ongoing, and the offender would be forced to apologize and resign. But no one will take any particular notice of this.

In a November 4, 2023 lecture at the Yaseen Belmont Masjid, California, Islamic scholar Dr. Khalid Siddiqi said that Jews make up only 1% of the universe, yet they “probably” cause 99% of the problems in the world. He praised a Palestinian father, who handed out sweets when he discovered all his children had died as martyrs, and said: “Who can fight this kind of people? They cannot defeat them. Nobody can defeat them.” Dr. Siddiqi also claimed that Freemasonry was a Jewish movement that seeks to rebuild Solomon’s Temple. The lecture was streamed live on Iqra Tube on YouTube. According to his website, Dr. Siddiqi is a lecturer at the Graduate Theological Union’s Center for Islamic Studies, Chabot College, Mission College and Ohlone College. He is the Director of the Islamic Education and Information Center, founder of the Islamic Law (Shari’a) Council and continues to serve as Secretary for the Council. Dr. Siddiqi is also the regular Friday preacher at the Islamic Society of San Francisco, Masjid Dar Esalam in San Francisco, California.

Siddiqi: “The most hating people for the Muslims are Jews.

“The Freemason movement is a Jewish movement, which [seeks] the reconstruction of the Temple of Solomon.

“These are very smart people. You know we have the Republican Party and we have the Democratic Party, and what is their design? In the entire universe, their population is one percent, and probably they are the cause of 99% of the problems of the world. So, 50% of the Jews [are in the Republican Party and 50% in the Democratic Party. They never lose. Even after losing the elections, they are still winners. They are designed that way.

“In Palestine, a father is distributing sweets, saying: ‘I am so happy, all my children were martyred. All my children were martyred and are in the heavens, in Paradise.’ And he is distributing sweets… Who can fight this kind of people? You cannot defeat them, nobody can defeat them.”

  1. No proof to support his accusations. Just like Charlie Kirk, Tucker Carlson, and Candice Owens who make ridiculous assertions that there is a cabal of Jews that control everything. Please point them out.

        • OK, I listened but there’s no mention of either individual. I did find:
          Shapiro called Owens disgraceful for her tweet: “No government anywhere has a right to commit a genocide, ever. There is no justification for a genocide. I can’t believe this even needs to be said or is even considered the least bit controversial to state.”

          I have no context, so I don’t know if she’s responding to some argument or calling Israel’s response by that term. Further, she tweeted two short Biblical passages.

          Then there’s this exchange where Shapiro said Owens retweeted left-wing blogger Max Blumenthal: “We White American Jews are living through a golden age of power, affluence and safety, a welcome reality [that] threatens the entire Zionist enterprise, from lobby fronts like the ADL to the State of Israel, because Zionism relies on Jewish insecurity to justify itself.”
          Owens: “I don’t know who Max Blumenthal is, but I do know that you have my number and could have informed me in earnest. Real relationships should trump Twitter theatre. Let’s set a better example going forward.”

          Tucker? No mention. I did see the interview where they discussed the conflict onlyin the broadest of terms.

      • I have no idea whether they have said these things, but one thing Tucker has been silent on is about all the pro-Hamas/Pali rallies throughout the US. I fully understand, if not agree w/, anyone who says that Israel is another country and we have no business bothering about them. But Tucker hasn’t said a word about the anti-Semitic demonstrations in the US, be it in colleges or elsewhere, & seems to be on the same page as those who claim that it’s a free-speech issue. One would think that for an “America-First” commentator, he’d stand up for Jewish Americans who are at the receiving end of these demonstrations in the same way he stood up for White- and Asian- Americans in the summer of 2020, during the George Floyd riots. Even if he has no opinion about Israel, or leans negatively against it

        There was an interesting analysis by Jonathan Tobin of JNS on this yesterday, where he discusses this split in the Right on this issue. I am very disappointed in Tucker and Candace, and have stopped following them

        • I wouldn’t take Media Matters seriously at all. About Musk, while his initial statement was clumsy, his revised statement clearly stated that “River-to-the-Sea” sentiments were genocidal, and would not be tolerated on X

          I denounce Candace and Tucker, but don’t think that others who helped her climb to where she is today – Charlie Kirk, Dennis Prager and Ben Shapiro – deserve to be lambasted on that account

        • He didn’t, though. He rightly pointed out that the donors now threatening pullouts didn’t speak out before when every Caucasian was deemed a racist threat, even infants.

As for someone saying something similar about mozlumsm then being forced to apologize, I recall that at least two people who did their research found that in some countries, mozlums were responsible for the majority of the rapes and sexual assaults. When they published their findings, they weren’t forced to apologize….they were taken to trial for telling the Truth.

    But this scum has Freedom of Speech to lie his ugly head clean off; even as people who tell the Truth are being silenced.
