Staffers for State Sen. Julia Salazar offered effusive praise for Hamas in the hours and days after the group’s Oct. 7 terror attack, which left at least 1,200 Israelis dead.
Hamas devastated two communities near the border with the Gaza Strip and slaughtered hundreds at a music festival, with reports of mass rape, beheaded children and babies found baked in ovens.
“By any means necessary,” Salazar’s Communications and Policy Director Sarah Campbell wrote on X the day of the massacre.
“After how many decades of a violent occupation does armed resistance become justified,” she wrote on Oct 12. “I don’t condemn Hamas, I condemn Israel. Who has reigned more terror: Hamas in the entirety of their existence, or Israel in just the last 30 days? Which group has massacred more civilians? Displaced millions? Bombed hospitals? Killed premature babies? Starved an entire people?”…
Salazar’s Chief of Staff, Isabel Anreus, “liked” an Oct. 7 post on X reading, “The stuff happening in Palestine really cheers me up.”…

I can understand the left being unhappy in their astounding ignorance of the true motive and intent of Hamas because I once thought that way early in the second Intifada, however, without the directed hate towards Israel. I had no idea about the Islamic foundations of the conflict, thinking it was just a few angry Arabs, not the community, who were behind the attacks and being met with overwhelming Israeli force which, without more knowledge, seemed unfair.
I now know the intent of the Palestinians, most of the Middle East nations, Hezbolla, Fatah, the PA, AND Hamas is the eradication of Israel and the annihilation of all Jews. Why? After reading enough of the “holy” texts of Islam, reading the translations of Mosque sermons, reading of the ME history after WW2, and observing the continual attacks of Muslims on unbelievers in Allah’s name. It could no longer be denied.
It seems from a recent post-10/7 poll that 63% of Gaza residents still support Hamas and 83% Palestinians in the West Bank support Hamas. That 20% difference is the consequential cost of trying to start a regional war using Iran’s proxy army. Gazans got the massacre of Israelis that they voted for and apparently(63%) want more. They cannot be trusted to rule themselves peacefully. It would require a UN peacekeeping force which would be periodically picked off by jihadists.
One thing of which we can be certain: Sarah Campbell will eventually realize that Islam is dangerous. It might be a gay friend beaten or killed, it might be an angry Muslim making threats in Senator Salazar’s office, it might be an attack on an event where she is present, it might be a Muslim acquaintance beaten by the husband, etc.
Ignorance of Islam has a price. The least expensive is reading the Quran in reverse chronlogical order and studying Islamic history. The word “Islam” means submission – YOURS.

What the hell is going on in this brain dead woman’s head is way beyond me, and the trouble is she’s not alone. Sarah Campbell speaks for many on the left and I’ve come to the conclusion that there is something seriously wrong with the way their minds process things. There is definitely some mental deficiency with these people, there has to be, as they don’t think rationally.
Any rational thinking decent person would never support evil, but this is exactly what the radical left are doing. They support evil every time, and I don’t believe they intend to.
