Sometimes, between rocket attacks, there would be months when Sofie Berzon Mackie thought she lived in a slice of paradise: a loving community in stunning countryside on the edge of the magical Negev desert.
The mother-of-three would jog across the fields and look towards the Gaza border, just 3km away.
She would see the city, see the sea and be filled with the hope of peace one day – certain that there were mothers just like her on the other side of the fence who wanted peace, too.
‘I’ve been a left-winger all my life. I don’t believe in violence. I always wanted co-existence,’ says the British-Israeli artist.
‘Even in our darkest hours, I told my children that in Gaza there were mothers like me, and children like them, and they are not the devil. Now I realise how naive I was.
‘There is still a part of me that wants peace, of course I do. But these monsters – Hamas – have to be defeated. And the world has to help us.
‘What they did happened once. It happened to us. But it could happen to you, too. I have never seen or heard of such hatred as happened on 7 October.’…

That’s exactly what i thought when I read this report, CogitoErgoSum. It is not just the sadistic scum from hamas but all Muslims. They all believe the same filth from the Koran which teaches nothing but murderous hatred towards all of us non-Muslims. It is good to see her waking up, but she still has a long way to go to face the terrible reality about islam and its vile followers. Still it is good to see some progress being made among the fantasists who don’t get how evil islam is.

In the Algerian Civil Wat, 1992 to 2002, moderate Muslims (and the FLN regime) fought jihadis/ wahhabis and won. Ca 150,000 deaths.
Berbers have fought Arabisation and radical Islam for over 1300 years.

Hopefully, she realizes that her left-wing peers and politicians have facilitated an Islamic invasion and just planted a Muslim army in just about every non-Muslim country – and left their citizens holding the bag.
So now that she isn’t naive anymore will she now convince her left-wing peers and politicians to reverse the damage done? Time will tell.

For artist and kibbutznik Sofie Berzon Mackie to be uninformed about Islam is one thing; for Israeli government leaders to be uninformed about Islam is, after 75 years of jihad without end, unconscionable. To hear the current Prime Minister of Israel speak airily of plans to”de-radicalize” Gaza is to despair, and to infuriate.

There are thousands of Muslim aggression incidences in the West, every month, perhaps even every few days.
It is tiresome and never-ending. How many potential reporting incidents does Jihad Watch discard every day because it could fill newspapers with them?
This is like watching the bay emptying lower than we have ever seen and not realizing the tsunami is just over the horizon:
A civilizational war is coming over Israel unless the US government finds a way to defuse it. But there is another war in Ukraine, you say? It’s already lost and will end in a negotiated settlement. The focus of the US is on Israel. Muslim states attention is squarely on Israel, and they are agreeing to cooperation as never seen before.
They have learned not to fight as nations while eliminating Israel and then lose in another “Nakba”, rather, they will fight using sponsored terrorist groups. They are already doing it and US soldiers have died by proxy attacks.
The West will be forced to either allow Israel to perish because of received damage from sponsored militias or go directly after the sponsors, such as Iran, possibly bringing in Turkey, and sparking a civilizational war.
This would be good time to prepare for societal disruptions, external and internal.
Boats are falling to ground, pebbles flip in the roar of receding water, then an eirie quiet. There is no calming hiss of breaking waves, just fish flopping, the gulls say nothing.

Thoughtful, Westman. I awoke this morning seeing a single soldier (vision) beside his horse, dressed in the regalia of English cavalry. He looked through binoculars. This made me think of Israel having but one ally during this distressful situation. Polls indicate perhaps 70% of voters do not favor (have their trust in) Mr. Biden, as president. He turns away when the circumstances threaten him personally, being “tough” only to a point. When a government observes 300,000 pro-Hamas demonstrators march in the street, in defiance of the culprit’s mass destruction of Israeli innocents on that Oct. 7, it knows that its citizenry is suspect. Such cannot be counted on to defend the country itself (England) much less uphold the ideals of the seasoned civilization wherein it (Arab-descent Britishers) now live. Therefore, leaders must do “what is morally right” and all other dissenters be damned. Assurance is that the one God who watches over Israel will keep its good ally in sufficient prosperity. A USA Republican administration that replaces can make this vision of mine of a singular horseman into reliably two.
