FIANNA Fáil councillor Azad Talukder was asked to withdraw comments at a council meeting this week after saying that he would like to see those involved in last Thursday’s violent Dublin riots “shot in the head”.

At this Monday’s full meeting of Limerick City and County Council (LCCC), council members condemned the shocking scenes in the capital last Thursday (November 23) after a knife attack on three children and their care assistant outside a school in Dublin’s inner city….

A Fianna Fáil Councillor has triggered uproar after he said that he would “like to see” those behind the Dublin riots “shot in the head” – or beaten by the public “until they die.”

Limerick City West Councillor Abul Kalam Azad Talukder made the remarks during a Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) meeting on Monday, as councillors discussed the angry and violent scenes which spilled across Dublin city centre last Thursday, in the aftermath of a knife attack on three children and their creche worker.

The Limerick Post carried the comments, which have gained significant traction on social media. Cllr Talukder, who is Cathaoirleach of LCCC’s Metropolitan District, told the meeting, in reference to those who rioted, “they should get public punishment.”

“I strongly believe that this is not the face of Ireland. This is just some criminals looting the shops. I don’t think they follow any ideological purpose. They come to the streets and just rob. They should get punishment,” he said.

“Not even an animal does these kind of thing. It is very shameful and they should get public punishment.

“I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,” he told the meeting.

The local newspaper reports that Labour Councillor Conor Sheehan, responding, called for an “immediate withdrawal” of the comments, telling Cllr Talukder:  “You can’t call for people to be shot in the council chamber”.

Cllr Talukder replied, “Ok, I can withdraw that. I just put my emotion only. I hope Conor Sheehan understands that is only an expression of my emotion.”…

    I commend this politician for his honesty. He is saying that I’ll kill anyone who disagrees with me. He is so obvious. It doesn’t matter. His kind will outbreed you.

    And your delight in welcoming him will be overwhadowed by your daughters being raped your sons either beheaded or converted, and your churches turned to mosques.

  4. A muslim wants infidels slaughtered? An Irishman demands only that the man make an “immediate withdrawal” of his declaration of islamic war while actual Irishmen are prosecuted for resisting open slaughter of Irish children? It’s not a news story, it’s a war report.

    • I agree. He’s just asked to withdraw his comment, when he should be told to beat it back to whence he came. To help him along, the Irish who were protecting their kids, could use their handy-dandy pitchforks to the area of his person which points to their idol of stone in the desert.

      But Justice has been “shot in the head” and “beaten until it is” almost dead.

  9. His “emotional” outburst defines who he is. His description of what he considers to be appropriate punishment is that of a typical, barbaric islamic country. It’s only surprising that he isn’t demanding hands be cut off.

    We would be bombarded day in day out about a racist council and the entire nation would be held to ransom.

    He shouldn’t withdraw his words which are an integral part of his being, but he should withdraw from his official position because his words express contempt of democracy and contempt of his fellow human beings.

    He should be stripped of his high rank of Irish citizen and returned to the inhuman hellhole he came from.

  19. I hope they come after Connor McGregor, he seems like the type who won’t back down. I don’t even like Connor McGregor personally, but I would stand behind him in support against the tyrants in Ireland now, & I hope every decent person in Ireland does the same thing.

  20. In the one hand, Talukder and his kith and kin should not be in Ireland at all. I think we’d all agree on that.

    On the other hand, Talukder is one hundred percent bang right about the Dublin underclass.

    The eugenics fanatics of a century ago were right; members of the underclass should not have been born at all.

    Every American – or British or Irish – city could benefit immensely from the worst one or two or even three percent of the population being briskly culled, quietly or otherwise.
